My experience at Tom Wood was a good one. Everyone was so professional and courteous. My car was fixed in an adequate amount of time and it looks good as new. Nancy McGuire was a pleasure to work with and she kept me updated on the status of my car.
Getting into an accident can be very stressful. Dealing with insurance companies can be a nightmare. However, Tom Wood Collision makes getting car repairs easy. They explain everything very well and I love that they take the time to include you in the process. The staff is very polite, friendly, and informative! Would definitely reccommend!
I had a great experience at Tom Wood Collision. Josh was great to work with from the very beginning. From providing a quote that was easily accepted by by insurance company to helping with my rental car and getting my car fixed within a couple of days, he made the process very easy and convenient for me. I would certainly recommend to friends and family.
Absolute worst experience ever. Took 2 months and 5 separate visits from my adjuster to actually get the car done. Once, i had not heard from them in 15 days so I called to ask how things were going and found out NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE. They forgot about my car. One time, they called to tell me it was ready for pick up when it got done being washed and right before I got there, they said they sound a HOLE in the bottom of the cat because they never actually put it on a lift. Which I found to be very odd since the mechanism of injury was running over a sign and getting hung up on a pile. So of course, I ran out of rental car coverage at 44 days and actually had to call for a week to ask them to extend the rental car. i made 6 separate calls asking what I should do because I needed the rental car approved. On the last day of coverage they finally approved Why should I have to call them that many times to get something done? Then I finally get my car back after 2 months, immediately see a chip in the windshield before even driving off the lot and they tell me “I’m not sure if we even took the windshield out- good news is safelight will come to your house and fix it”. I was so mad i just took the car anyway. Then I turn on the radio which is integrated into the map, screen, etc- all static. They didn’t even hook the computer back up!?! RIDICULOUS. So who knows what else is broken. Does cruise control work? The Bluetooth? The airbags? If the computer isn’t hooked up correctly, who knows. I’m sitting in the waiting room now and so angry I am shaking. Fortunately I have plenty of time to write reviews about what a nightmare this place is. Of course now I realize I’m not the first horrible review. I only wish I had researched this place first before picking a collision shop. I just thought being attached to the dealer they would be a good choice of repair shop. So wrong. They are horrible. All I want is an apology and some decent customer service. I get it - accidents happen and mistakes get made but this is unbelievable. And the best I get right now is the manager handing me his card. I’m sorry, but what am i supposed to do with your card? I already know how to call you I have been doing it for the past 60 days.
Kept me updated on the repair. Updates were received at the designated times set by the adjuster. Body work looks great. Final inspection of the vehicle showed another major problem with an oil leak that they promptly informed me of with no pressure to purchase equipment from them. Helpful guidance was provided. All around great experience.
I had a lot of issues regarding customer service and timeliness. However, the Director, Brian Moore, was very helpful in making things right.
Great job fixing my Titan XD! Everything came out as one would expect and the staff were quite friendly and accommodating. This is a great dealership and repair shop.
Customer service is horrible. Promise is not kept. Trying to fool the customer. Inconsistent message. Slow service. Really bad communication with the insurance company. After seeing all the reviews with similar comments, I'm really nervous about when I can get my car back.
I was told it would take 6 days to fix my vehicle. It ended up taking 18 days to fix, because they couldn't get the parts in. My car sat in their parking lot for 2 weeks without being touched, while I was paying for a rental car. They told me it was their policy to not order parts until they got the car, even though I made an appointment to take my car in.
I called 5 times over those 18 days. Every time I called, I was told my parts would be in tomorrow and that Mark would call me back. Mark finally called me back after the fourth voicemail I left him. He assured me that he would personally call me on Monday when my car was completed.
I waited until after noon to call and was told that Mark wasn't scheduled to work that day and that my car was already done. I had to ask if my car was done! The ladies at the front desk were always nice, but they work for unprofessional people.
Tom Wood Collision is my go-to body shop. They just finished my 2nd accident repair Friday 9/25/2015. From start to finish, Mark and his crew did a fantastic job. They communicated every step of the way with me and State Farm . This is really important when you are without your vehicle, especially if you enjoy it like I do. My Toyota 4Runner came back better than it was before my accident! Their entire operation makes you feel at ease, and everyone is a professional. A good body shop is hard to find, but Tom Wood Collision Center exceeded my expectations. I'll be recommending Tom Wood to all my friends and Family. Thanks all!
