Good equipment selection setup for review. Staff is always nice but not always hyper in tune with their products. Good savings on cash and carry or bundled deals.

If there were more stars I would give them all to Frank for fast , informed and friendly service , and the forklift driver ,did his job well, no rookies here!! All my purchases have been in fine working order and have proven to be a quality product at a very reasonable price. I will be back for more ! Thanks again! R. Evans Sr. Galveston IN.

That really knowledgeable staff here. They were friendly and easy to talk too.They didn't care to explain the equipment, how it works and even use it and allow me to use it! I will be coming back here!

I ordered a two post lift for Heavy Duty Trucks for my shop on a Wednesday and it arrived that Friday! It takes longer to get a T-shirt from ebay. The best price I could find on the lift I needed too. We Will certainly return for our next purchase. Thanks Greg Smith Team!

On March 29th, I called their 800 number. I was transferred to John in Oregon. His first question was "How did you get this number?" He seemed confused by the fact that I had been transferred. We discussed several combos and we finally settled on one for which he emailed me a quote. It was a good thing I was paying attention as his first quote was $100 over the cost on their website. I pointed this out to him and he emailed me a new quote.
On April 12th when I was back in town, I again called the 800 number to place an order for an item that I had spoken with John and he had given me a verbal quote. Both quotes I was told the shipping would be $250. This time the phone was answered by a person who muttered into the phone like he had a mouthful of food and immediately put me on hold. I was then transferred to Bob. He quoted me the same price but said shipping would be $200 more because the item was out of stock closer to me and stated that "It's not your fault we don't have it closer to you" I explained that I had been verbally told by John on March 29th that the shipping would be the same no matter which machine I went with, so I thought I would upgrade the machine.. Bob said ok they would go ahead and ship it for the $250, however he wanted me to complete the sale with John since he had originally quoted me. John called me about 15 minutes later and said the shipping would be $450. At that point I made the instant decision to purchase another brand I had been considering and told John that. He simply said Ok Have a good day goodbye and hung up. I was surprised that a company first would make one quote then, when it came down to it, wouldn't honor the price and would rather lose a sale over $200 even though it was their fault that it wasn't in stock closer to me. In addition there was approx $500 in additional product I had on the order.
Future planned purchases where in the neighborhood of over $20,000. I sent them an email detailing the problems I ran into while trying to place an order with their company-----of course I never heard back from them.
Oh well. Perhaps this is for the best. If the presale service is this dodgy, the aftersale must be worse. In addition, the entire "tone" of their website is defensive. Pretty sure that if there had been a warranty issue, they would have tried to place the blame on the purchaser instead of their chinese equipment, in fact, in researching them after this happened, I read a lot of bad reviews regarding their warranty issues. I've had a Greg Smith Equipment motorcycle lift for several years. Well made and simple to operate. Works great with no problems.
