Great experience playing PGA West. Course played great, easier than the others. Bucket list golf facility!
Great course

Played this course immediately after playing the Jack Nicklaus Tournament course. Not even in the same ballpark! Fairways were OK, greens better than average. Speed of play was horrible! Took 5 hours for my partner and I, with waits at every shot and tee box.
This course is extremely tough, with hardly any holes without water. Not for the faint-hearted. Would definitely suggest higher handicap golfers avoid unless you have extra golf balls at your disposal.
And as usual, I'm not impressed with Pete Dye courses. Cookie cutter layout like all his courses (too many railway ties, sand traps, moguled fairways, etc.)
Was somewhat disappointed to be honest. The course was in the worst condition of any of the palm springs courses I played before this round (indian wells, desert willow, escena), which was especially disappointing considering that I played during peak season. It was tough paying $190 for the round. Other than that, the course did not have as much variety as I expected. A lot of holes were very similar and comparable to some from cheaper courses. Overall, the course was not as aesthetically pleasing as I hoped
Very challenging, couldn't ask for a better golf experience.
unbelievable golf, great views and great people
