If I'm in Williamsburg and in need of a jumpstart, Toby's is a reliable spot. While you'll often see a line of customers queued up, the staff moves things along quite efficiently. If you're lucky to score a table, take advantage of the free WiFi. Restroom for customers also available.

As close to Melbourne cafe atmosphere as you can get in the USA, great effort with the interior and coffee selection. With the lack of decent sized coffee shops in Manhattan however, it is crowded with people using laptops.

Toby’s estate is known for its design. I was excited to see the shop and be in that atmosphere. When I placed my order the baristas actually laughed at me. Not in a joking manner, but in discussed because I ordered a decaf cortado. There was a lack of seating available. Would not go again. Find another spot around the corner.

I was pretty bummed to learn that Toby’s doesn’t provide WiFi on the weekends. I came from pretty far away to set up a couple meetings here and work for a couple hours. Would have been a nice bill for Toby’s.

I don’t understand what the logic is — to limit how many people come into your cafe?? In the meantime, you’ve lost a customer. So stupid.

You can't beat Toby's coffee. Cool, friendly baristas and a great space. Whether steaming lattes in winter or cold brew on a hot summer day, Toby's is a can't miss pitstop. The only downside is it's always crowded, but for good reason!

Great coffee place. Good spot for sitting outside on their wall bench in the sun. Only issue is the line and crowded space as the place is so popular.

Lovely coffee, ambience, and decor!! Would HIGHLY recommend the Mint Julep. Perfect spot to cozy up with a book on a Sun afternoon. Wifi is a bit finicky, so manage expectations accordingly.

Came with friends for coffee while it was raining. The place was packed, but despite this it still felt cozy and service was reasonably fast. They roast their beans in the back, which is cool to see as you're ordering. The coffee is great, and the baked goods were quite good as well.

I'd ordered an Ethiopian pour over, and they did it right there. The coffee hit all the right notes, with a distinct body and berry undertones.

Full of trendy Williamsburgers who are getting their daily coffee. Hanging out and reading or using their computers. The baristas are a bit snooty at first but they can get quite friendly.

Probably the most popular coffee shop in williamsburg. This spot is consistently busy and normally the tables are full mid day. They have a great outdoor bench to read and soak in the sun. No wifi on weekends is the only complaint and only one bathroom.

One of my favorite coffee shops along with their coffee, located in Williamsburg. Wish they were open later, other than that they are really friendly staff willing to explain each coffee on the menu. The coffee is also available for purchase and it's amazing as well.

Oh god this is the best thing ever! My husband and I would pick up several frozen pies whenever we hit up downtown NY . I have a friend who lives in sateen court and recommended this joint. I love that there's a large variety of pies. The puff pastry is the besotted. It's hell flaky and the fillings are extremely flavorful. My favorites are the lamb pie and the pepper steak one. I'm not a huge fan of the curry chicken pie but all the other ones I've tried are on point! The pies range from $6-10. Kinda pricey but one pie will most likely fill you up! The last time I went had a promotion of buy 4 get one 1 free. Hope that's here to stay!
