Good place to stop for food while you're snowmobiling (the trail goes right by). We've always had good, never great food here. Service has always been good.

Definitely stop by if you're in the area!
I don't remember which burger I got but it was thick n juicy🍔💦 Get steak fries with A1 sauce!
Excellent scenery and decorations.

We stopped here on our way back from a short Munising trip, my husband, I and our 2 young kids. Absolutely great food, great beer and pretty good service. Our only regret is that we didn't find it on our way up so we could have enjoyed more of what they had to offer! Ended up ordering food to go also because it was so good and unique tastes! Loved it, highly recommended!

Good enough. Excellent wait staff. Or at least our server. I didn't catch her name but she was a skinnier brunette, mid 30's, maybe 5'3" or close to it. Either way, she did a great job and was very friendly as well as accommodating. I didn't really enjoy the food because I ordered far too big a burger for my liking. That's not to say that it wasn't good. It was a decent meal.

I would expect at least one piece of beef when I pay $14 for a pot roast dinner. Instead I was served a few tiny slithers of roast beef and gravy on top of mashed potatoes which I'm not sure weren't instant. Reminded me of the frozen beef and gravy bags you dropped in boiling water for 2 min and cost around $2.99. The meal wasn't worth much more than that. On the positive side, the bartender was very friendly. We won't be returning.

This place is a hidden gem. I ordered a chicken salad wrap and it was too die for!! I would have never expected it to taste as good as it did but wow! The presentation was beautiful too. Kid's menu was worth the money also! The service was awesome! Our waitress was very friendly and I never once had to ask for a refill of coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you are near this place, stop in. Food is very well priced too!

One of my favorite places to eat in Newberry. Food is always fresh, well-prepared, and if you leave hungry it's your fault. Some of the best soups I've found, and the steaks.well, you just have to try them. Highly recommend this place #

The food was good and portions were very big. They do no have a kids menu printed out but our server was able to tell us. Mello-Yello is served in a can with no refills and if you want something else they charge for it. They do not have any of the substitution charges print and do not tell you.

For us,it goes way back to early 90s,camped in the area for years, always went to Timber Charlie's,good fish, good burgers, good wait staff, never lets us down.Go Timber Charlie's

Great, friendly service. The Sage River is one of my favorite sandwiches! The coleslaw is really good. Great place to eat.
