Cool place. There were a lot of us and we were loud at times. He was pretty respectful when he told us to keep it down. Most people would be rude about it, so I'm pretty thankful for that.
I did dig a kayak out of a log jam down the river that looked like it had been there for years. He took it away. :( Kinda figured if it was there that long and I worked hours to get it out it should've been mine to keep.
I hope your reading this I still haven't forgot what you did last summer! I even gave her a name! Just kidding thanks for the great time and putting up with us.

Really friendly, family run campgrounds and cabins right on the river. Small, quiet and clean. Loved each of our trips here and hope to have many more!

Conditions of outhouse were sickening. Threw up on myself upon entering. Could smell odor four sites away. In rain odor leached in mud and rain puddles. Bath houses had no toilet paper, floors were muddy, shower walls were moldy, no hot water and stall locks were broken and falling apart. Path leading to bath house was not properly lit and stairways were rotting and slippery. STAY AWAY!

Great place and even greater people! If you are looking for a great family place to explore the UP then look no further. The campsites are level, clean and shaded. The bathhouse is newer and very nicely kept! The kayak trip was awesome with 3+ hours of nothing but Mother Nature. Best of all..you are no more than an hour from just about everything you would want to see. Highly recommend!

Good folks, good camping on the lovely Manistique river. Rent a kayak and float the unspoiled Seney refuge!

Only visited for a kayak trip on the Manistique river with my wife and two young children. Trip was great. Kayaking equipment was all nice and the person we worked with was very friendly. Turned out to be a great first kayaking trip for the kids.

This campground was perfect. The owners are very nice and have a small little gift shop that also contains essential items to buy. We stayed a weekend at campsite 10 which is about 20 steps from the river. Never got a chance to kayak so I plan on that in the future. The only think bad that happened was playing rain that flooded our fire pit because they have low sides in the ground and are very shallow, but we still made it work as there is an above ground grill to use. Excellent experience overall and would highly recommend.

Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. Our car battery died, and they even helped jump the car. Lots of scenic nature on the canoe/kayak trips! Nice reserved camping spots also.
