It's the only place where you can get true quality custom tile
Needed 8 16 by 16 ceramic kitchen tile cut. Was 1 inch too long. Heard they cut tile, called this morning, confirmed. The old lady that answered the phone, wasn't sure, went to shop, came back and said ok, I asked how much, she said $1.00 a cut. After the guy finished,I had money for owner, $5 tip for the guy who cut. She told him in a lean into his ear, something. He said that's $2.00 a cut. Sounds Petty, but she basically decided to change the price while he was already half way thru. I would have paid $5 a cut if that was a solid price. Can only imagine if someone was buying two pallets of tile!!!! Cutter did a good job, hence 2 stars.
Very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly & large selection to choose from!
What an amazing place, so helpful gave me everything I wanted at just the right price, you can't find better people than this to work with!!
These pictures and review have been a time coming. We got caught up doing painting after the tile was completed late August and we did not want pictures up while the furniture was everywhere. In any case, here they are and the wife and I could not be happier with the job completed by Tile Importers. Our most sincere gratitude for a most beautiful job to their installers Chris and Tom. Our experience with both of these two gentlemen can't be overstated; funny, polite, professional, attentive to detail, perfectionist, knowledgeable and patient with request and questions. The best part is the continued remarks from friends and family whom come by and admire the new tile to the extent that they have to touch it while asking if it is wood flooring. Exactly what we were looking for, but with the durability and easy of maintenance that comes with tile. Thank you Tile Importers and an immense Thank You to Chris and Tom once more.
Well, we are back again for another project for Mary Ann and Red at Tile Importers. New hardwood flooringI am excited as I know it will be done right and Mary Ann's experience in picking the right materials is such a blessing. Picking out a roomful of flooring from one piece of wood is a challenge.
Our first encounter with them was our tiny bathroom from h--l! Designing a floor plan from a closet sized room meant lots of measuring and adjusting to give us a shower my husband could bend over in and leave enough room to pass through this jack and jill bathroom and use the facility! They gutted the space and created a new tile and glass shower from scratch. The new vanity with granite top had to be custom trimmed, but wow! It is beautiful! In an old house, "square" is impossible, but Chris and Tom did it.
The next was the master bathalso not large, but with new granite topped vanity and tile surround, it is as updated as space would allow. Short of creating space from thin airit is all I could have hoped for.
Last was a total kitchen redo, from ceiling to floor. Mary Ann and her crew Andy, Chris and Tom labored diligently on a difficult transition from early 1980's kitchen to the beautiful and well designed kitchen we have today. A kitchen redo is not an easy one to endureliving without a kitchen is not fun, but they made it exciting. I love our new kitchen! Andy was faced with more than the usual amount of tearing out and replacing, but he did it with a smile and a fine hand. Poor Chris and Tom were faced with a difficult tile backsplashMary Ann wants it done right and right they did, creating a beautiful pattern from a non-matching tile. Artist all!
So it is no wonder we chose them again to do new hardwood flooring. Thanks all for jobs well done, looking forward to the new project. To those of you unhappy reviewerscome on down and see the finished productyou get what you pay for!
Go somewhere else quick !! I will never go there again and tell everyone I know to stay as far away as possible .
