Enjoyed a few hours with my love , love their menu comfy environment
Me and my husband are from out of town and herd this place was a pretty good bar in san antonio to get a great margarita they where great i must say but what just turned our night was this bar back girl we were having a conversation and over herd she was ex military my husband being festive as always tried talking to her and she was so absaloutly rude and ran off to tend to other guest we will not be returning here!
Friendly staff, a great environment and pretty great prices for the river walk area.
We are 5 35 to 45 year old people, hit the river walk for a good time and we're floored by our experience. We go to clubs all over US and Mexico. Also were ready to drop alot of money. We went here hearing good music from the street. We were there for about 40 minutes before we were quickly put into a full blown bar fight where a guy purposely walked by me and hit my shoulder. I am a small white girl and my friends and husband stood up for me, when I said excuse me. I instantly had a man in my face calling me names (profanity ) and then he shoved my forehead back into my girlfriends head. Long story short, my husband ended up beaten by 5 guys including the bouncers and another of our friends thrown down the stairs by others and the bouncers. If you are not the right crowd for this place, do not go! Do not need to bring in race, but it was apparent we were not welcome there. Not a good time at the River Walk!
So as I got into San Antonio, I parked my car, and strolled over to the Riverwalk. I heard music. Live music. It was four guys with drums who were singing reggae style.
So I figured if the music is good, I'll stick around and have a drink and some food! After all, I'm meeting a date a few blocks away, I'm early, and she's late.
I ordered a mojito type of drink and a chips and queso. Can't go wrong in San Antonio, right?! Wrong. Way wrong.
The chips and queso came right out. The chips were from a bag, and the queso was velveeta gross. It was so bad. Like really, really bad.
Then the drink came out. It tasted like punch, and was not well balanced with any sort of alcohol that I could taste. I drank it in about one sip, and gave the chips and queso back after taking 2 bites.
Paid and left.
I went dinner hours on a Thursday, place was empty and it took ten minutes just to order a drink. Atmosphere is terrible, pours are short. If you like tequila, bartenders only know where Patron is. I'm exaggerating a bit here, but they were clueless where their top shelf tequila is. So it took another 10 minutes just to get a drink and it wasn't even what I ordered, had to pick something within view. Place is rubbish, especially for the real estate.
