My favorite brewery in TC. The beer is exceptional and the food is also very good. It's not a normal restaurant though, more like a tasting room with food, as there is no table service. Sitting at the bar is the best experience.

They had the smoothest porter I have had at a microbrewery. The saizons were amazingly crisp and of course potent. Haha. Every beer I had was great. Would recommend them to everyone. Not very busy, good atmosphere, great food, great beer.

Bartender was awesome! Super helpful for getting around to the best places since we aren't from here! Loved everything we tried!

This was our 3rd stop in traverse city while trying to find a brewery with good beer. The 3rd time was the charm. The atmoshpere is so great. It's ultra comfortable and the beer is awesome. Finally good beer on our trip to Traverse city. The other "breweries" were more worried about aesthetics and food and less worried about brewing a good beer. This place is comfy and the food is good but the beer is first 😁

Very chill atmosphere and good vibes. Nice people working there, good pizza. We brought our kids. It is order at the counter & sit down. It was fun, very casual

The Workshop brewery has an excellent outdoor area and huge inside that opens up to the outside thanks to big garage doors. They take the workshop theme seriously with tables built from workbenches and tools. The beer is good with a nice variety of styles from the malty to the hoppy. Enjoying a hoppy brew outside in the summer during the summer is a great pleasure and you can even enjoy it with your dog as the outside part is dog friendly.

The food is top notch. The atmosphere is on the same level. Great beer selection. They have a live band some nights, they are awesome too. It honestly doesn't get better than this.

Indoor, outdoor seating, great unique food. Great location and live music. Great beer choices, as well as wine and ciders. Darts inside, corn hole outside. Need to check this place out!

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. I liked how they paired each menu item with one of the beer/cider choices.

Workshop has been growing on me since it first took over the spot occupied by Right Brain Brewery. Bar service (no servers) like Short's used to have, is a little slower, but every pub-tender I've met there has been top-notch in terms of knowledge, generosity and service. The food is consistently solid, and they have an in-house smoker for cubans and pulled pork sandwiches. Food is solid pub grub but not high end gourmet like lots of other places around town. Beer is consistently great. I'm not a hop-head so seek someone else's advice if you are.

More and more, this place is becoming my go-to when heading into TC for a meeting, or grabbing a bite before another local event. Great music too!
