Clean, gorgeous private rooms with large flatscreen TVs & bathroom/shower. I have trouble communicating how my meds were usually taken since one nurse insists every 8 hours instead of 3xdaily with meals as my bottle at home shows. Thus, I am startled awake for that last pill. The door latches are very loud when someone bursts in. I try to keep my door ajar for that very reason, but someone keeps closing until it latches. Cupboard doors need something to keep from banging. My heart gets a workout since earplugs won't stay in. Those nasty sounds make me jump right back into severe pain from precious sleep relief. I am then awake for hours. At least the food is good, although timing can be erratic, whenever they get it ready.

Second time my mother was brought to this place. Each time forced out after all her 100% insurance premiums were used. Care nothing about helping the elderly, just about exhausting all available insurance funds. Yet this place is always recommended by local hospitals. I have no reasons why? I would highly recommend to look into other places before placing any love ones into this facility!!!

Extremely poor communication between nurses, PT staff and family member. My husband was there for six days before I moved him and I never received a report of his status or detail plans for recovery. I was given a list of dr appts that were made by them and when I called ALL three drs to verily times None of the appts were made. Would not recommend, specially during these COVID times when you are not allowed to be there.

My mother was at the Seaside Cove building for rehab for a broken rib and hip. The therapists were wonderful. The rest was horrible. Decor is beautiful, but 90% of the staff that we spoke to hated their jobs. The aids are called Shabatz and are responsible for cleaning, housekeeping, cooking and everthing else with the exception of medications. The showers are a violation of anything ADA. The floors in the are improperly sloped and the bedrooms food. How this passed an inspection is questionable. Definately a fall hazard since the floor has to be totally dried before the patient can even move out of bathroom. This facility is in no way 5 star as they advertise.

My stay at this facility was one of the most horrendous experiences of my life. The staff took more than fifteen minutes on average to answer a call button. I had three critical surgeries and was incapacitated when I went there for rehabilitation. I was fully dependent for assistance to get out of bed to use the facilities and the staff did not respond on a timely basis causing great difficulty for me. Therapy was provided by aides not therapists. The food was prepared by the same individuals who provided patient care and their basic hand washing protocols were not strictly adhered to. I think that while the facility is new the care that was delivered was substandard and untimely. I sincerely do not recommend this facility.
