Russ gave us a private tour yesterday and we had a great time! The trail ride was scenic and he gave us a lot of great facts of the area and the plants. I've done a lot of trail rides in different areas and definitely felt more relaxed with this one due to the great horses and the great instruction and tips on how to really work with the horse. Would definitely return if we are in the area again!

Russ is an excellent guide!! He knows horses and cares about horses. They were all healthy, happy and very well taken care of. I had a wonderful trail ride through awesome desert terrain. It was such a unique experience. My horse was beautiful, sweet, smart and the perfect match for my skill level. Russ did a wonderful job of guiding me through the ride, and had interesting stories and information about the area. I would ride here again in a heartbeat and hope I get to do so!

My son and I had the best time riding in Cave Creek with Russ and company. Russ is so kind, inviting and he absolutely loves his animals and provides such an amazing establishment. We conversed the entire time which made the scenery even more beautiful. We learned the history of the land and where his passion derived from. This was my first time riding and my son has ridden Sammy before. I rode Quill and he is such a sweetheart, I felt safe the whole ride. I can hardly wait to come back to visit the ranch. Thank you so much for the nostalgic sunset ride. It was a truly remarkable experience.

Russ is an all-star guide - incredible. As a new rider, with my more experienced girlfriend, we enjoyed every minute of the 1.5hr ride with him! Cannot reccomend this experience more - it made our trip to AZ 🐴 We'll be back next year!

This probably was one of the best trail rides my daughter and I have ever been on and we ride once a year in Wisconsin and have ridden in South Dakota as well. We got a private ride for her 18th birthday, which was awesome! We could tell these horses are well taken care of-all very clean, manes untangled and beautiful, plenty of water for all the horses, the horses weren't even dusty! Stormy was an excellent guide!
