A true Indianapolis treasure. I have seen more than 20 shows here. Everything from Gwar to The Wailers, even Tom Morello. Best indoor venue ever. The shows during summer get a lil warm, but its worth it. Limited seats I recommend arriving early to snag a chair. If you like dancing and jumping around the floor is the place to be. General admission, although group seating is available for a heafty pricebut if you love your music like I do the plenty worth it.
I have seen so many good shows at the vogue over the past 30 years. Beer selection has improved. Security is very kind.
We saw the Blues Traveler 30th Anniversary Tour here! Awesome venue, let me share a few secrets. If you go to the alley directly behind the club and are early enough there is free parking. If you want to meet the group the alley is where you should be. Park early grab a bite or drink at any of the nearby eateries or bars and grab your place in line early front row is easy to achieve. Line up on the right side for regular ticket holders. left side for VIP/meet and greet. They regularly draw national acts and local talent as well.
The staff is phenomenal, the parking ample, the ticket prices reasonable But the sound quality is off. Still great shows in a nice and easy to navigate neighborhood.
Cool atmosphere. Allows you to get pretty close to the performance. A good amount of eating options nearby.
Stiff Little Fingers b/w Death by Unga Bunga great show!
Great looking & sounding club. the security is a bit invasive & the sound guy must be used to r shows because all u could hear was bass drum though.
Seeing Raheem and Musiq. Such a great time. The Vogue is a nice intimate place with decent sound. The bass is a little too much but it didn't keep us from dancing and sing
Great venue. The level of acts has decreased to other local venues in the past decade, but still well kept and great to work with from production and promotions.
My visit this time was for Fetish Friday - the show was great. The Vogue is a good venue but disability access needs serious work.
Seems like a nice place to watch a band. Good sound and acoustics. Sticky floors and dirty bathrooms topped off the overpriced drinks. I would go if I had to see the band in Indy but otherwise would go elsewhere.
This is a nice little venue! It's not hard to find a great view of the stage regardless of when you arrive for your show. Seating around the outside of the room usually goes pretty quick. No thrills bar in the center of the building with domestics, Sun King, and liquor.
It is a nice place but be prepared to buy water at $2 a bottle. They don't offer it for free from the tap, even for pregnant ladies like my wife. Only other downside is not being able to go on the second floor.
Love, love this place! It's so intimate and the energy is always crazy! I recommend seeing a show here to anyone who mentions live music. One of Indy's best kept secrets.
The Vogue is such a great venue. Good acoustics and plenty of room, always a fun time, whether I've been here for a fundraiser or a rap concert. Although more local beer options would be welcome, seems like they always only have Sun King.
