Pizza is very good but extremely overpriced, especially considering how incredibly thin the pizza is. You definitely don't get a lot of bang for the buck at this place. If you're not hungry, have a lot of money to burn and like good tasting pizza then this is a place for you.
Speedy service during a city event. It would be nice to have more seating but understandable for a small place.
Scrumdiddlyumptious. Thin crust is crisp but not crackery. Pizza sauce is neither too sweet nor too tomato-pastey. Minimalist style. Lotsa weird topping options = lots of reasons to go back.
This is my favorite Boston pizza place! The staff is great, the restaurant is clean, and the pizza is really good and pretty affordable. I like the two slices and a drink combo, the 2 slices are half a pizza! My biggest complaint is the lack of seating, which can be a pain if you're with a party of any size.
Great place for a quick slice or last minute pizza dinner/lunch.
I love their cheese pizza! People come & go so quickly. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. I go there all the time! I recommend you go too!
Really good fresh pizza made quickly
45 minutes late, not a call, cold and flipped pizza in the box. Not professional at all. I will never order there again; a real disappointment.
My plan for lunch was to follow my nose- I was not disappointed. Nice hole in the wall joint.
Service a bit slow but really great pizza and presentation at good price
I write this with mixed feelings. Honestly the pizza is fantastic -- thin style, juicy sauce, great toppings. Was a neighbourhood favorite for many years, and continues to be for a local quick pizza. BUT Upper Crust has been in the news and is known for its scrupulous policies towards its workers and pay. Unfortunately this seems to be a pizza joint out to make profit rather than to serve honest pizza. If you crave pizza while in Beacon Hill though I can't recommend any other place. Perhaps you could venture up to the East End and get Santarpio's or Regina's pizza (Boston's 2 famous competing pizza places) but the lines are long!
Pizza, pasta and calzone were delicious. Stuff was friendly. Not a lot of room, one big table that seats 11. Great place to stop for a quick bite while walking around.
