  Have come back three times since our first stay. Tim and Sara are great hosts. Tim helped get my snowmobile up and running so my wife and I could go fishing.

  Ok so I didn't say here and I wish I did. But I found this guys from the locals and they told me I must go talk to him.
  
  People, this guys is great. Even tho I wasn't staying there. He gave me the time of the day. Helped me with lots of helpful information about the lake and fishing and safety. Truly a sportsman and good integrity.
  
  ***** Also he's got a shop that damn near had everything you possibly need. From gear to live bait, and yes. Them Wiggler's that you need are also there. ******
  You could loose everything there the ice and walk back up to his shop and he could have you back out on the ice fishing in no time.
  
  The only thing bad about this guy is he's a Packers fan. Hahahah. But when it comes to fishing, we can all get along.

  Beautiful location right on the lake. Charming cottages with ice and wood available on site. Owner is a top notch guy!

  Rented a cabin at The Timbers Resort over the Memorial Day weekend and must say that it was one of the best times I've ever had. Tim and Sarah Long are awesome hosts. The cabin was nice and cozy and we were able to finally bring our pets with us on vacation! Thank you for a great weekend!

  Once you come to the Timbers Resort you will return! It's a wonder resort with everything to do. Great fishing always lively bait,. And close to anything you could want on a trip to the u.p. Tim and Sara host a great place. The walleye and perch fishing is great. I've had quite the best fishing ever. Once you stay YOU WILL COME BACK! Can't hardly wait to return.

  Been to the Timbers numerous times snowmobiling. Tim & Sarah are the greatest of hosts! Always willing to help with honest advice on snow conditions, and even helped pull one rig out when we got stuck. The cabins are nicely furnished, and they bend over backwards to accommodate. Some great "UP North" resturants and watering holes nearby. Looking forward to more stays this winter. BTW Sarah - did you ever find my right foot slipper??

  Tim and Sarah are wonderful!
  Great home base or kick off spot for snowmobiling, auto tours, or hiking.
  Lots of great food and beverage spots to venture out to in the area. Not too far from Bond Falls and Lake of the Clouds, either. See you in February!
