I had the prime rib and parmesan potato stack. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was good. What we noticed was that there was no drink menu, only a wine list if you were seated in the restaurant. Our waitress seemed a bit overworked, she would constantly tell us that she would come back to our table saying she would be back after doing XYZ.

Service is amazing. The food, from bread basket to streak to dessert is done with care and delicious and the pacing is really well thought out. A fantastic dining experience in an old school, traditional streak house atmosphere.

My New York Steak was cooked to perfection! My husband thought it was the best prime rib he's had in Phoenix. It was restaurant week so we thought we'd try it out. It did not disappoint. I was surprised it was pretty empty for a Friday evening. Regardless, we'll be back for a special occasion as the regular menu is on the pricey side for our budget even for restaurant week. The steak soup had great flavor but too salty for my personal taste due to a special diet I'm on. Husband thought it was fine and good. I tried to find out the dress code online but couldn't find anything about it. Just so you know it's casual. You could probably get away with shorts in the summer. For such a pricey place I was surprised the dress code wasn't. Oh yeah the service was top notch too. We would recommend.

Our server Dan was outstanding. Our first visit and this server come to find out has only worked here just over a year and was the best service my wife and I ever had. Ask for DAN! You will get A rated service with an extensive history that is very imoressive and should literally be a Tour just by itself!

Called Monday to make a reservation for Friday evening. Made sure to bring to their attention that we would be dining with them for my wife's birthday. Told me they would make note of it. Sadly nothing came of it, not s word from anyone. Not even the host looking directly at our reservation. Next disappointment was the wife's choice of appetizer, the New England clam chowder, flavor was good but it was luke warm at best. The bread basket contained only cold Bisquick style biscuits. Cold and dry. When the main course arrived, her meat was cooked to order but again only just warm. My steak although ordered medium was quite rare, and only warm. Just like the twice baked potato, warm. In addition her asparagus was cool to the touch. Staff was polite and professional, only one patron was laughing way to loud but he is not a reflection of the establishment. Desert choices were rather limited, hence no desert was ordered. Overall, our dining experience was O.K. nothing special whatsoever. Not likely to return. Perhaps just an off night.

The prime rib for two was an AMAZING anniversary dinner, with every item tasting fantastic! We went early so it wasn't very busy, but I would have given 5 stars if the waiter were better. Before we left we heard a different server telling the couple behind us about the history of the building and the wines and beers they have, which we did not get at all. But the food is enough to make me want to come back!

We had a party of 7 that night. Very casual place . Was expecting dressy casual but not at all. Very casual . They tried sitting our party at a table between the rooms where everyone had to crawl around to get seated and trays of food being pass over backside of you to other tables. We asked to be seated elsewhere. The hostess was irritated immediately with our kind request. 3 out of 7 steaks came out cooked wrong and one was the wrong cut of meat my friend ordered, drinks needed refilled we had to keep asking other staff.
Over all it was good food . Not very classy for a date . Get together With friends ok . $$$
No one seemed happy at tables we could see & hear from our table. Many complaints that night. Manager would not come out to talk to table behind us nor the older vets that sat on the other side. We made our dinner issues very clear to our waitress attention and got no response but shoulder shrugg and but it taste great question. Email manager his response was waitress says we never complained , I press the issue manager Gary second email said waitress said issues were brought To her attention . He lied gave us two different response within 5 minutes . This is the manager who refused to honor our vets and come talk to customer who requested him that night we dined . Yikes we will not be returning. Chops in Scottsdale is awesome , chard house

Visited for our third anniversary. Our waiter John was phenomenal, as was the atmosphere and the food. Had the wild west mix grill and wife had the filet mignon. Great pick if you're looking for fine dining.

Went there for lunch. A bit pricey. Had the half pound burger, which was good. Dinner is on the expensive side. It is a steakhouse not Sizzlers. If your into impressing out of towners, take them here. Nice place.

We saw several advertisements for this, saw great reviews on TripAdvisor, and were really excited about trying it. I wish I could say it lived up to our expectations but really it was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. The service was just fine. The food was the problem. Ordered a medium well steak, it came out rare, but still managed to be be burnt in places. I ordered a chicken cherry mint dish. The breading on the chicken tasted really odd. The best thing on my plate were mashed potatoes and they weren't the best. In the end, the best part of our meal was the biscuits. To top it off, it was among one of the most expensive meals we've ever had.
