Great views. Make sure you have plenty of spare golfballs, if not search the woods there are a thousand of mine. A challenge for a beginner!

One of the most beautiful and historic event venues in the region, be sure to ask for CJ the DJ to entertain your events.

A very technical, but fun golf course. Great views of Modnadnock always see plenty of wildlife too. Bring extra balls you will lose a few along the way. Sage might even help you find a few.

Course is very pretty but very narrow. No need for a driver anywhere. But the worst part of it was the extremely rude woman in the pro shop. Horrible customer service and a very nasty attitude. Will not be back.

You will lose balls here. Use cheap ones. Otherwise it's a good challenging course.

Awesome wedding venue! The staff is awesome, the food is amazing. The stone terrace is an awesome place to have your wedding ceremony ! Mount Monadnock is the backdrop behind the stone terrace on a clear day. The venu is beautiful definitely worth checking out.

Bring a camera because the views here are amazing, while your at it bring a bunch of extra golf balls also because you are going to lose a lot of them.

I've played a few times in the past few years - it is certainly a challenging design which isn't fun for beginners or very high handicap golfers. If you can control direction and distance than you'll love the course. It's fairly well managed and rangers keep duffers moving. Sadly can't get out that far more than once a year.

I am a member at The Shattuck. It is the place where I learned to love golf. At most golf courses you can hit the ball nearly anywhere, and still be able to hit it again. At the Shattuck you must hit your target or you may never see your ball again. It can be punishing, but it is extremely rewarding when you play well. There are 6 tee boxes and 3 "blended" tees, I recommend playing forward of your usual tee to ensure that you enjoy your round.
The views are spectacular, and you can rent a cart to take a tour. Guided nature tours are also offered.
The grill offers excellent food at extremely reasonable prices. Pam's soups and salads are signature items.
This year the greens are in their best shape ever. As always, you should bring a few extra balls.
