I recently had a hip surgery with the renowned Steadman-Philippon Clinic, which was VERY last minute. The wonderful folks at the S-PC gave us a few options for hotels in the area to recover with and The Sebastian was one of them.
My wife and I LOVE this hotel, which is absolutely beautiful, warm, and luxurious. The rooms are well appointed and extremely comfortable, and the in-house restaurants provide a wonderful venue to choose from. But more than the exquisite surroundings are the staff!!!! From the moment of our arrival, to the rides to my Physical Therapy as needed, to the front concierge, bellmen, room staff, and all the way to Brian, the GM, every one of our needs were metand exceededby the most gracious, friendly, smiling, and accommodating team I have ever been surrounded by. This is a hotel that clearly values the clients they meet, and the community they serve. We will be back over, and over, and over!!!!response / report this review -

Could not be more pleased with our recent stay over Thanksgiving weekend from start to finish. Everyone from the reservationists who assisted with booking for our puppy and making sure the room met our needs to the incredibly kind bellman (especially the head one who was working on Thanksgiving day). They knew us by name- especially our puppy- and always greeted us with a smile and willingness to assist with any requests big or small. The Director of Rooms went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable with our specific room tempe needs, etc. - because of this, we have already booked return trips for ski weekends and cannot wait to visit again. It's always nice to have a beautiful hotel that is welcoming to dogs I have a feeling its our new "go to" for Vail/BC area.

The Sebastian is luxury defined. Vail is a town full of delightful, amazing places to stay, but the Sebastian will be at the top of my list. From the moment we arrived, our every need was attended to. I loved the staff, the concierge, Molly, and the beautiful room we stayed in. The location is stellar regardless of the season you're visiting in, and I don't have a single complaint about this hotel. Cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely wonderful property! The staff is very warm and accommodating. The art throughout the hotel is stunning. The spa offers a great selection of services. Perfect for a get away or for families. The residences are spacious and offer the comforts of home.

Amazing hotel with thoughtful details and staff! Can't really go wrong staying here, even the basic rooms are terrific. Unfortunately I think the service has slipped a notch, on several occasions we had to call multiple times for simple requests to get done (fix air conditioner - didn't work first 3 days; make pull out bed up for kidswe had to call and ask on 4 of 6 of the days we stayed there). The free video games are a huge plus for kids, though about 1/2 of them didn't function properly when we were there, I would still stay here again and think that this visit we probably caught them on an off week.

Most aspects of this hotel were top notch. From the moment I stepped out of my vehicle I was greeted by the valet staff and was immediately welcomed at the check in counter. The staff went above and beyond in my requests. Only downside I had was my experience with the valet. If you plan on parking your car in valet expect a $32 fee/night. Not too bad, but pricier than any other hotels in the area. The valet also seemed uninterested in pulling my vehicle around upon request even though I tip well. It was almost as if the valet staff did not want to be there. On the upside they were amenable allowing the car to stay in valet after check out.

Every year my father and I come here for mountain biking. Never need to think about what hotel to choose. We always go to The Sebastian. The service is very good and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are cozy and all n all, a great place to stay in beautiful Vail, Colorado. 5 stars!

The best resort in Vail with museum quality art adorning. The Residences are spectacular and the amenities delightful. The Frost bar has innovative cocktails in an intimate space, while Leonora has an excellent menu in a warm and cozy room.

hotel is well located downtown Vail. Close to shops, restaurants, lionshead, vail museum, other hotels, rental sky, gondolas.the staff from hotel is very friendly, very well decorated, nice fireplaces and food is very good! Rooms are clean, comfortable and well decoratedLOVE this hotel! In fact this was my third time!!

Valets need to be nicer. I was treated terribly when I first showed up. That's after I had just tipped very well to boot. Then I was apologized to by a valet over an over. Nice placeThey need work on how to treat guests.
