My husband and I ate here while visiting Chicago. I wanted some Italian while visiting. Great restaurant and friendly staff. Food was delicious and worth the price. Our server was amazing and very quick on her feet. Would go back!

Great food! I ordered a veal, which was delicious! Also ordered the Tiramisu for dessert, which was one of the best I've had in a while! Recommend you to try.

I've been coming to The Rosebud for years and it never disappoints. Everything was delicious from the food to the desserts. Portion sizes are big and worth every cent. It's known to be a tourist spot, but it's perfect for locals like me who want to eat at an authentic, old school Italian restaurant.

Buyer beware!! I checked out the rating and prices on their menu, seemed high end but good looking food. I arranged my birthday dinner with 3 other people and we sat down, had a few drinks and a wonderful meal: thankfully I didn't check the bill in detail before leaving otherwise it would have absolutely ruined my birthday. When the server told us about the specials he neglected to mentioned the price, I wasn't worried because it was a special occasion and we were all chatting and having a good time. Based on the prices on menu for entrees I wasn't concerned . To my HORROR I was filing my slip today and saw my husbands entree for the shank was $110!!!!! It had to be a mistake, I looked again and did the math again. Yup $110 for a "special " very super special I would say. I am really disgusted that someone would be so devious as to present an entree special and at least not caution you as to the price, it was significantly more than anything else in the menu. I have emailed a complaint in and will wait for a response and will submit that here once received .

Excellent service, cozy atmosphere, food was fantastic. Felt like a special evening from the moment we walked through the door until we left. Entrees excellent, desserts also excellent. Used a gift card that was purchased at Costco. A very enjoyable evening.

Had an amazing meal here with my girlfriend over the weekend. A friend recommended this place for authentic Italian & we were not disappointed. Great service and family atmosphere. Our waiter was amazing as well. Shoutout to Garret!

Amazing food. The cavatelli was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The portions are huge! Our server Marvin was prompt, professional and very personable. It was our first trip to Rosebud but definitely will not be our last!

Fantastic Italian food. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Appetizers were simply delicious: calamari and mushrooms were to die for. Everyone enjoyed their respective meals, and the bill was about what you'd expect for a high end quality meal

I had an exceptional dinner at the Rosebud last week. Gerard, our waiter, was on his game and Frank, the Maître de, was a consummate professional. The food was excellent (oysters Rockefeller were perfect), the beverages well made and quick and we felt like royalty. The next night we went back for a drink a the bar and Frank arranged a surprise dessert for my birthday and ran to buy a redbull for my friend. We felt special and will be back.

I am sure everyone else usually has a good experience, but I did not. Wrong food came to me, rest of the table got their correct food. Waiter was terrible and did not listen.

Loved the vibe and atmosphere of this place. I thought the food and service were also top notch but, minus one star for the pricing. In Chicago we can get good cheap Italian and this is definitely on the higher side price wise.

I ordered veal. Did not receive veal. My food wasn't even warm. Waitress dismissed any and all complaints by insisting that we were whiners. $8 for a house salad that they didn't even bother to cut! Why even offer it? $28 for 'veal' covered in a layer of cheese thicker than the protein cut! They forgot to add sugar in their tomato sauce so it was acrid. If I had. Even by myself I wouldn't have even ordered or I wouldn't have paid. I had a gift card and paid for my meal AND part of my guests meal because they didn't deserve to pay full price for what we received at this establishment. Of all the Italian food in Chicago I highly recommend that this is one you skip
