One of the employees (I think he was the manager) followed me and my friend around the store and proceeded to follow us outside the store onto the sidewalk to make sure we weren't stealing. We went on a Friday night in downtown Boulder. Out of all the people that were in the shop, I was amazed that he chose to single out the only Black people in the store. I was extremely disappointed with this racial profiling and I will never return to this shop again.

The Ritz has everything to outfit you and accessorize you. The staff was very helpful and interactive, with more than a few of them trying to figure out the best costume for me for Halloween. They listened to what I wanted (nothing slinky, and I needed something warm as we live in the mountains). Staff helped me find the perfect outfit, as a lovely unicorn with a warm, hot pink, fuzzy jacket. We then added a few fringe items. They rung me up and I was on my way. This is a fantastic place with a wide variety of outfits and costumes for all ages. And their help and expertise was greatly appreciated.

The Ritz sells a selection of cute clothes, jewelry, and funny cards but the true beauty of this store lies in their costumes for rent. Everything from the Easter Bunny to zoot suits. Even if you're not renting anything ti's fun to browse through the racks of costumes on display.

I was in from out of town. I needed a costume on VERY short notice. The staff was FANTASTIC. They have a huge selection. The process and fitting went very quickly. The cost was less than I expected. I even bought a few gag items.
