I took a friend for a delicious meal on his birthday. Great food good service and clean. It was a beautiful day and the scenery is really nice overlooking the lake.

The Point is a relaxed lakeside bar and grill. Leave your clock in the car lose track of time and enjoy the picnic like atmosphere and enjoy being by the lake. Great sunsets to be seen from The Point.

Half dive bar, half potential. It's a no frills, gravel parking lot kind of place. Great bartenders, waitresses, and service. They do Allow smoking on the patio, so that may or may not suck for your experience.

Amazing views, great service, over generous portions of decent food. My only complaint is some of the customers are rough. Smoking at the table on the patio, 2 feet away from our table; dropping the f-bomb every other word in front of their children as well as other people's children. It looked like there was a outdoor smoking area away from the tables, but the staff was not enforcing it.(Just imagine any White settlement trash, you have ever met) That's not totally fault of the place and I would go back; it's simply a location issue and the typical person who lives in this area.

I was meeting a first date. This place was between us, on the water and quiet (and apparently been here forever!). Before going in, I discovered I forgot my wallet! 30 miles away. When I asked the manager if they'd take a check (yes, I still have a few :) she said they don't take checks, but I can call her tomorrow with my credit card info. How awesome is that!?! We stayed until they closed and ran us off. Hopefully we'll be back for many anniversaries to come! Thanks again for saving me arrrrse, Janet!!

Excellent place for down to earth people. Michael Carranza wrote a review bashing this spot. Guess what Michael don't go back. The food is excellent, the lake is the lake. You are not on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago at Lake Michigan but I wasn't looking for that. I want good food and good atmosphere and that is what this place has. Good wait staff and I would recommend to all.
