Really decent Thai food, probably as close as you can get to real Thai taste without going there. Love the larb nam tok and the boat noodles was delicious

Was pleasantly surprised by our visit. Kiddo friendly, they had high chairs available. Spicyness level was perfect, enough heat to make you sweat without overwhelming the other flavors. The food quality far exceeded what I expected from the non-descript location. Definitely don’t judge this book by its cover.

Such a disappoitment. Everything was terrible and just plain boring which, for Thai food, is unusual. Boring flavorless curry, over cooked meats (such as ribs, chicken wings, pork dumplings). Squishy rice when I asked for a side of "seafood sauce" I was informed I could only have it if I ordered a whole fish as this sauce was not available Al la Carte. The staff were not just clueless about Thai food they were rude. We ordered 11 different items, it was a large for them, they should have treated us better. Hugely disappointed, spend $30 on Uber to get here and I wish I had never came. Cash only but no signs or mention about this until the check was presented. Beware!! The reviews must be written by them, this place is horrible. There is no way anyone thinks this place is even "OK" I was looking for a dive with good food but all we got was a dive.

DO NOT EAT!!! The food was absolutely not creative or authentic and came out over cooked with poor presentation! They waiter wouldn't even give us fish sauce and at the end of the meal told me he couldn't except card 💳, only cash! Overall not happy and could think of a 100 other places to try!

I have been eating at The Original SAB-E-LEE for almost nine years. First time I visited my Thai friend exclaimed, "Oh my God.This tastes like home!" Enough said. Sab-E-Lee became the reference from which I would compare all Thai food.
This restaurant has become a personal favorite for its courteous staff, high value, authentic atmosphere, and unforgettable food.
You can't go wrong at the best Thai food restaurant in town.
*Just keep the spice level under 5. You can always add more spice if needed.response / report this review -

We went there recommended by a friend and it's a 10 for us, it's an incredible restaurante every dish is super taste and divine. Be careful with the level of spicy because 3 is already super spicy for a regular person 😂😂 I order mixed vegetables with chicken and rice and is healthy and mouthwatering, and my boy tried drunken noodles with 3 level of spicy and I think is quite enough is you want to enjoy your food without crying hahahaha. Only one bad thing and it's you have to pay in cash only.

Michelin Rated, so was expecting to be wowed. Food had a fusion type style. But would prefer good ol' traditional Thai food more.
Two items that stood out was the beans dish and the pork belly. The pork belly was undoubtably the best item we had there. Good vibes, but not standing out as a place I'd return to.response / report this review -

My wife and I wanted to get our Thai fix, and this place is quite authentic. Although not up to par with what we were expecting. We could even ask for something we could get back in Thailand, and they were very accommodating. Friendly staff, great food, good atmosphere.

I feel like the food was not authentic Thai food. My mother is a hundred percent time she visits us from Thailand often. Every time she visit us she always cook Thai food for us the taste between authentic Thai food is totally different from the restaurant. So I hate it when the restaurant say they're real authentic Thai food when it's not.

Very solid Thai food in SD. Decor is nice, small cozy place, when you come when theres not much of a wait is the best. Love their fried rice, panang curry, drunken noodle and pad Thai. Very spicy, so be careful, a 2 is pretty good, 3 is like spicy and that's on a scale out of 10. And I eat pretty spicy so beware on your choice if spicy level
