I’ve now had two procedures with NY Skin & Vein—one injection and one laser treatment. The care providers put me at ease by answering my questions. They’re clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. The staff in the office is professional and warm. I also appreciate their holistic approach to skincare (dermatological & cosmetic injections and laser services, as well as ZO skincare products). Looking forward to my next visit.

Everyone in the office is very friendly. From the moment you walk in the door. The receptionists always greet you with a smile. The nurses are very friendly and the providers are amazing. Kathy, is a wonderful person all together who I love getting my peels from! Highly recommend this place to anyone!

I highly recommend The NY Skin & Vein Center, 6 Country Club Rd in Oneonta NY! In fact any of their locations offer the same great services. Kate and her fabulous facials along with their full line of ZO products (a must for maintenance as the good Dr. will tell you) have transformed my skin to the point that I can't believe it's me! I now get compliments on my skin all the time. Dr. Dohner has made me look refreshed with his expert knowledge and application of Botox on my forehead! He removed a mole on my upper lip that looked like an alien with 3 relentless hairs growing out of it. Using laser technology, he shaved it off leaving my lip line as God created it! I can't say enough about Dr. Dohner and his staff. From the minute you walk into his beautiful facility you are treated like a celebrity. The prices can't be beat for the quality and variety of services offered. Dr. Dohner's entire staff from Doctors, Technicians, Physicians Assistants, Nurses and Front Desk Personal are top notch. Every man and woman that wants to look their best and feel their best should inquire about the extensive services of The New York Skin & Vein Center. I wanted to finally leave an online review of the (EVLT) surgery that Dr. Dohner performed for me a few years ago. I had consulted with another doctor regarding the surgery I needed and did not like what was explained to me. I chose to get a second opinion from Dr. Dohner and I am very happy I did because I chose him to do the operation, which turned out even easier than I anticipated. I never really needed any pain medication other than the local numbing agents that were used during the operation. The environment in the operating room was very comfortable and relaxed, yet professional. I am very happy to be able to highly recommend Dr. Dohner.

I first saw Dr. Weinberg about a recurring hives problem. He prescribed over the counter antihistamines. The next time I saw him, I told him I was still getting the hives and the antihistamines weren't working. I still had no idea what was causing the hives at this point. A year later, I called him again and said I was still breaking out in hives regularly and we ran a blood allergy test. Among the results, he found my blood sugar was very high. I saw an endocrinologist and she told me that somehow I developed latent auto-immune diabetes out of the blue. "Don't you think the hives and diabetes are probably related?" I remember asking Dr. Weinberg in a phone call when he discussed the results of my allergy test. However, he dismissed my hives as "very mild" despite the fact that I had been getting them almost every day for 2 years, which I had been very clear in emphasizing. Instead, he said the hives were probably due to "dust mites" and to use a mattress/pillow cover. I tried this and was still breaking out in hives regularly so I called Skin and Vein again and tried to make another appointment. The receptionist told me they already referred me to a primary care physician and to talk to her about it. Finally I saw an allergist, described my symptoms, and almost immediately he said, "Your hives and diabetes are both autoimmune in nature, both almost certainly caused by vitamin D deficiency." I started taking vitamin D capsules and 1) my hives have disappeared completely and 2) my blood sugar levels have returned to normal without taking any insulin. If Dr. Weinberg had taken my hives seriously from the beginning by trying to find the cause instead of treating the symptoms or making unsubstantiated guesses, I could have avoided all this. I only hope permanent damage to my health wasn't done. The allergist told me chronic hives of such persistent recurrence would not have been due to external stimuli like dust mites and any good doctor should have recognized that.
