Year after year this experience grows and becomes a great festival. The costumed guests really make this a fun time for the entire family. The food and drinks are always good - the live performances are quite entertaining. I recommend this event for everyone to enjoy a little fantasy .

Great place to have a weekend adventure. There is stuff for everyone, kids and adults. There are some amazing shows, things I would never see anywhere else.

We had a great time!
Get a small taste of renaissance era Europe from Vikings, to peasant towns, royal court, and more. There were also live shows, including a joust. I will definitely attend next year.
Unfortunately the vendors do not accept cards, so be prepared to bring enough cash. Everything is quite pricey, as fairs tend to be. ATMs on site with run you almost $4

For a limited span of time you can enjoy this fantastic Renaissance Fair. Bring cash and a comfy pair of shoes because you WILL want to eat and drink and you WILL walk. This fairground stays up all year and the fair moves in for a few months each year from summer to fall. There’s costumed characters (the fairies are my favorites), shows, demonstrations, and even some man-powered rides for the little ones. Drinks run about $8-$10, and good runs between $4-$10. There a several shops to go to, but depending on the wares you could spend upwards $400 (for handcrafted metal, glass, or leather goods). This is a great place to explore as a family or just by yourself, and don’t be afraid to dress up!

5 stars for So much FUN! I love it there. A lot of things to see and to do. Nice different shows around the park. Lots of little shops which I love. It was the most fun park I've ever been in NY. People and staff were dressed nice. Lots of boobies too lol. It was something different. I wish I lived in that park. The atmosphere is great and nice people. I felt far away from home. Back into time. I would definitely come back. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the toilets outside was the most disgusting toilet ever. Urine and everywhere I couldn't breathe I almost had to throw up. Also the food wasn't super good. Little pricey food and water but that's usually what you can expect at fairs. Also did not like the sand dust by the food seating area. It irritated my lungs. They should put some stones down to prevent the sand dust flying around. It came in my food too. It wasn't windy but people walking on it so it rises in the air. Parking was okay a little bit of a walk but we did not had to wait in line really we parked within 10 min.

My girlfriend and I spent a whole day at the fair and had a wonderful time. The performers are amazing and you can't help but have fun surrounded by the cool costumes, vendors, and games. We tried a little archery and some knife throwing and enjoyed a handful of performances. Vendor prices can be steep but you are buying high quality and often handmade things. These people deserve what they are charging.

My only complaint is the high food costs. I guess that's to be expected at something like this but $16 for 2 beers seems a little excessive. Despite that, we can't wait to come back again!

This is my favorite time of year when the Renaissance Fair comes back! It is such a wonderful atmosphere, great food, lots to look at, wonderful artists, more than fun, feels great to dress up and feel like a kid again and the workers are wonderful! It's also very easy to walk around! You get an awesome leg work out! I very much enjoy this and it's a wonderful time for the whole family!

I first started attending in the 90s. Even without the pickle men of yore, Sterling Forest is still where it's at. Be sure to catch some live shows, and don't be afraid to participate for the best experience.

It's the oldest fair I've visited so far and has character and depth. Also the visitor seem to have a better time here. Look forward to visiting again

This was an awesome experience from beginning to end. You really do fee like your stepping back in time since all the merchants and actors stay in character throughout the whole day. The only complaint i do have is that the jousting even is not long enough.

Love RenFaire! Always a great time. Awesome food, great gorgeous grounds and a lot to see and do for the whole family. A lot of walking - so wear your sensible shoes!

Always fun. Cool activities and vendors, staff is awesome and friendly. Shows and events could be a little more obviously announced or scheduled. We happened to get to jousting as we followed the big crowd. Food is good - turkey legs were delicious! Bring cash or use an ATM on site. Highly recommend the $10 preferred parking to save time and a bus ride from the far, but free parking.
