Great park, lots of fun rides, though I am susceptible to motion sickness so I only rode a few before I was done for the day.
Great play areas for kids, along with smaller versions of some of their rides.
Cool shows, we saw the Christmas on Ice show and were on the front row, was fun to be so close to the skaters.
Food/drink prices aren't as unreasonable as they are at some amusement parks, but still more than you'd pay outside of the park.
Overall very clean and a positive experience.
My favorite theme park on the east coast! It's absolutely wonderful that the park has a zoo built in. From adults to teenagers to a toddler, we all had a great time. This was our second trip in 3 years and we loved it just as much. The all day dining is a little pricey, so we only indulged in that for a single day for the adults and toddler and 2 days for the teens. We got our moneys worth on those days. with the prices of the food (unfortunately in line with most theme parks), if you take the time to eat your 3 meals you will do better with the all day dining and the food here is Very Good. I will be returning in the next 2 to 3 years, we enjoyed it that much. The 'quick queue' really wasn't needed for most rides, but if you like the most popular rides it is a benefit. My teens used it by going on all the popular rides the day they got it and the other days riding the rest of the rides. My toddler was in love with the Sesame Street area and could easily spend all day there. Don't be afraid that you will be disappointed by not going to "the mouse". Busch Gardens will put a smile on your face for sure.
If you have never been to Busch Gardens, you are missing a real treat. The park is especially clean as are their restrooms. The animal exhibits are expertly created and presented and the animal look at act like they're well cared for. There are amusement rides for every age group, but because the park is so popular with the local and International visitors, the lines ca be long at times. The price of admission is quite a deal since paying for one day allows you free admission for an additional 12 months and is called a Fun Card. Right now an additional bonus to the Fun Card is it gives you admission not only to Busch Gardens, but also the Island Adventure which is a water park next to Busch Gardens. Right now during the holiday season the shows are especially themed around Christmas. There is even a special attraction open at night on Friday, Saturday and Sundays running through the holiday season called Christmas Village. So much entertainment for such a reasonable price for the entire family.
Excellent theme park for all ages. The roller coasters are of the best in the state. The shows are wonderful--I've skating, singing and animal shows all involved in the price. A Florida resident can enjoy a year pass with a small down payment and every smaller monthly payments. Definitely recommend this theme park. A far better deal than Disney and the lines to rides are not very long. The Christmas shows are spectacular!
Fun time and great rides! The park is very well kept and can make you feel like you are in different locales. Food is reasonably prices for theme park fare, but understand that you are going to pay a slight premium. The only issue on my visit is that there was an issue with the Christmas lights in the evening and they did not come on. We did bring up the issue with a customer service rep and they were able to comp us with a 1-day ticket on my next visit. I appreciated that gesture and will surely go back.
FABULOUS EVERYTHING except the pineapple ice cream thing. EVERYTHING else absolutely 5 stars. Parking, easy. Shuttle, easy. Rides, something for everyone. We will forever add Busch Gardens to our trips to Tampa. I'm excited to have found something so great for our entire family. We range from infant to quite old.
We had a FANTASTIC time at Busch Gardens Tampa! Even though my wife and I don't do the rides, we enjoyed seeing all the animals and the train ride! And the food was GREAT! As well as plentiful! Word to the wise - pay for the All You Can Eat plan when getting your tickets on line. You save money and can eat about all day long! Thank You!
I have been going since I was a kid and always love it. Has become quite a bit pricier though, still cheaper than a ticket to Disney World and in my own opinion much more fun. I miss the Clydesdale back when Busch owned the park. Good benefits come with annual pass. Fun things to do for everyone!
Me and my husband love love love Busch Gardens Tampa, we go at least once a year maybe even twice. The park is super clean, we usually get our tickets at AAA so it's very easy to get into they check your bags like your ticket and go have fun. Parking is $20 and they have a tram to take you to the front but me and my hubby usually walk. The roller coasters are super fun I have a lot of good food. I love this amusement park.
Very awesome place to visit. Went to experience the haunted houses. Was exhausted. The map was very confusing. The haunted houses were hard to find. Bought a fast pass and couldn't use it at one of the haunted house. Had fun but not what I expected from watching commercials. 1st time going for the Halloween events. I'll pass next time
Busch Gardens is a wonderful Florida theme park. Ticket prices are fair, especially if you have an annual pass (also includes parking!), food prices are fair, the animal attractions are clean and the animals are very well cared for (my wife worked there for a while, its an excellent facility). The rides are the best in Florida, and the shows are so much fun. Opening night critters is great, and I can't wait to try the new ice show.
Finally, the people that work there are really wonderful. My proposal to my fiancee was at Busch Gardens, and the staff worked with me to set up something truly special.
Fun rides, lines weren't too intolerable, even on a holiday weekend. Staff seemed friendly and alert. Prices for food and beverages is insane (think $8 for a Bud light) but that seems standard for these types of places and I think it is cool that you can drink here. The craft brewery was nice, Double Dice was delicious and strong
Very clean place. Staff were friendly and helpful. My toddlers had a blast in the Sesame Street area and we are so thankful that there was a splash pad area. The design of the park was spectacular. Details in every corner including music and sounds of the rain forest. The train ride was free with general admission and a great way to end the day. I loved the interactive tree house and that I was permitted to climb with my kids everywhere they chose to climb. The animal enclosures were well kept, the animals look well cared for and all water areas looked clean and well circulated. There was virtually no area with still water. We have toddlers so we're unable to ride the large coasters and we still had a blast! The environment is engaging if you just stroll through. I would love to come back someday soon.
Overall the park was nice. However, to be going on a Saturday like we did, I didn't see many of the dining areas open. Mostly just the food carts. Prices are normal for theme parks and the animals are nice. I would suggest getting to the park as early as possible as there is a lot of walking and doing this in the hottest part of the day isn't fun. We only saw one show, Opening Night Critters. It was very cute and my daughter (almost 3) enjoyed watching the animals. We didn't ride any of the rides (I'm 7 months pregnant and she is too young so my husband would have been the only one to be able to ride) but they looked like they would be fun. Will probably come back when the kids are older. I would suggest adding some type of water area for the kids though since it is so hot.
I love Busch gardens and have been going to it for years. As well as all of us local people we have a Busch gardens fun card for a year. It is totally worth the money and the rides are awesome. There are family rides and thrill rides and even a whole section of kids rides. This place has a great African themed lay out the owner did a very good job with this park. This last part is about camps. I go to camps every year and I love it my sister is finally able to go to the camp so I can't wait for her to have a awesome experience
