We only briefly visited the moorings to look at the property. It is featured on one of our favorite shows so we wanted to get a picture. The grounds looked beautiful.

We WILL be coming back to the Moorings. We are teachers, and this place is a little beyond our reach financially. But it was so incredibly worth it. We spent about four hours in the hammock on the dock. The water is impossibly clear and stretches forever.

This was a beautiful perfect place to relax and enjoy ourselves. It is a great location if one wants to wander north or south of area, Key West is just 90 minutes drive south and everglades are 90 minutes north of us. Small village with plenty of night life, shopping, eating out, but The Moorings give plenty of privacy too. It's also very romantic. I loved the cottages. They have everything one needs. Clean, wonderful atmosphere and staff were awesome. For Bloodline fans.it's just like in the series. Also, so much to do. My husband and I are making this our getaway place.

LOOK NO FURTHER AND DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE KEYS!

Our Miami to Key West road trip stopped over in Islamorada and we were delighted to discover Moorings for a 3-day stay. If we had known just how wonderful it was, we would have stayed there the entire time! The immaculately landscaped grounds, pristine white beaches, gorgeous cottages, amazing pool, everything was just perfect. The staff was also incredibly helpful and warm, passionate about the resort and its history, which is why 'boutique' will always trump a luxury chain for us. We loved it to bits and will be coming back for sure.
