My advice is to avoid this place and save your time, filthy rooms! None professional service and lies!!!! And the view is bad, we checked out after 5:00 minuets from entering the room, the paint is pealing off, and the path room has no water, they said they will fix it, but why they didn’t tell us before we checked in, and they put me in standard room when I booked ocean view for Very Highly price

Rooms and building in poor conditions. There is no spa I could find. Gym is run down. Gym equipment is rusted out and dangerous. Rooms in average condition. Only 1 small shampoo provided. Not enough power points in room and some didn't work. Air conditioner extremely noisy in room and couldn't sleep.

Its a pretty old resort and they're still trying to catch up with 21st century. The parking is a whopping $32 per night, valet compulsory, so the tips make it even more expensive. Cleanliness is good. Staff is cooperative. Breakfast again is quite expensive. All in all.not much worth for the money you end up paying.

See below email sent to management. As expected, no response. Do not stay here.
    Hello,

As a recent patron of your hotel, I would like to bring some things to your attention. From the beginning of our stay, all the way to the end we were met with poor customer service, false advertising, and outdated and/or malfunctioning rooms. Please find below the unacceptable services we were met with:

*Website states room service. You do not have it as told by front desk staff
*Shower handle in our bathroom extremely hard to operate. Even the maintenance man came and couldn’t figure it out initially.
*No bottled water in the entire place??? Vending machines out of order. Had to sit at a bar and order water!! Front desk staff NOT helpful.
*Outlets in room loose- my hairdryer repeatedly fell out of the outlet. So annoying.
*Front desk staff who checked us in could not answer questions about our bill. Email stated that I had paid full amount for the room, however, he wanted to charge us another $300. His response: “They usually don’t charge the full amount but maybe. Check your statement and if it’s there, just come back” Unacceptable.
    *Mattress very old and uncomfortable.
*”Resort fee” is ridiculous. Did not receive complimentary NY Times newspaper.

Overall, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend your establishment to anyone else.

You walk in to a 3 maybe 4 star hotel. However, once arrive to your floor the rating quickly drops to a 2 star. The rooms lets just say you may consider changing hotels. This hotel needs alot of renovations and remodeling. The friendly and helpful staff make up for the lack of appeal. Location, staff, price of rooms, are good modern decor and contemporary feel not so much!

Stayed for a wedding, 2 nights, 16th floor. Pool is fine. No hot tub. Easy access to the beach. Slow elevator. Nice salon on ground floor. Wedding venue on top floor was nice with good views. Dated rooms.

If I could give this place negative stars then I would. The customer service is horrendous. The place is out dated. The pictures do not do this place justice. Not enough lighting, not clean enough and rude. We will not ever stay at this place again. The best advice I can give you is turn the other way. Stay elsewhere.
Only 1 of the 4 elevators work, and the door doesn't close all the way.The smell when you walk through the door just slaps you in the face.
We booked online and when we got here after calling an week before there still seemed to be a problem.

Very stylish hotel with polite, helpful staff. Continental breakfast service was very impressive. Very satisfied with massage treatments in the Spa. Hotel has outdoor pools, bar, restaurant and access to private section of Miami Beach. Prices may seem high to European travellers.

The service is fine, didn't have any problem in our stay at this hotel but checking in was kind of hard. On the phone we were told we could come and do early check in at 12 but we reached there we had to wait two hits to get checked in which I don't hold against them too since it was extremely busy. But it was just hassleful for us since we had driven three hours and checked out early from our previous hotel. Good hotel though. Nice service and great location.

It is a lovely hotel. The pools and hot tubs could've been deeper and warmer, respectively and on site spa services would have sweetened the deal. This part of Miami Beach is not located in the vicinity of restaurants, excursions or shopping areas, but there is a free trolley to take you close to most other beaches. Service is speedy and efficient. I would stay closer to 41st next time but my visit was lovely nonetheless.

This was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had. We had a girls trip & spent over 1500 for NOTHING!! We literally called the hotel every week just to make sure everything was good to go they never informed us that the ENTIRE hotel will be under construction, we had men fixing the hotel outside the window of our room. The bathrooms ARE VERY OUT DATED! Chipped Paint in the room & bathroom mold on the side of the tub. This was just very unacceptable & the only thing the hotel offered was complementary food which was also horrible. The breakfast sausage were under cooked bacon raw. My first time in Miami and I would never come back to this hotel or recommend this hotel. It should be closed until construction is complete cause it's definitely a rip off. If I was able to rate this as a negative I would

Hotel is beautiful on the outside, the inside has minimal updates. The swimming pool is out of order, however when you call they will share it is working. Bonus they update you to a better room, and provide the beach chairs for free, instead of the normal $15 a day. The restaurant inside is nice and affordable, but expect to pay a service charge of 20% standard for appears to be tourist location through Miami.

For the price there are many better options. It is very old. My room wasn't as clean as you would expect for the price you are paying. Dirty, old carpet that is coming up from the floor in places. Dirty bathroom tile. Two sinks yet one only had cold water. The shower was ridiculous- it went between really hot and really cold paying no mind to any adjustments you make. The sheets were stiff. Dirty curtains. Also, the pool was out of order for renovations when I was there. I was not informed of this upon booking. Elevators were so slow. It's on the beach and the lobby is pretty.

Although the rooms are dated they are clean. We found our stay enjoyable. The concierge both of them were our oracle very helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble you just have to ask. Great location or the beach and plenty of buses to get downtown and about. Definitely recommend team big red bus

So disappointed! Worst customer service I ever experienced! I have never written a bad review before, but I don't want someone else to experience the same thing I did. We were getting off a cruise ship and wanted a resort where we could request an early arrival to enjoy a day on the beach. They assured us we could check in early. They said to just call when we were getting off the ship. I did this and told them we were on the way. They said it would be no problem. We arrived at 10:30 am and our room wasn't ready which we understood. That was still very early. They said come back in an hour, which we did. Room still wasn't ready, and we were told to come back at 1:00. So we went and had lunch and returned at 1:00. Room still not ready! Returned at 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00! We were told our room still was not ready! 4:00 is guaranteed check-in time! No apologies or anything! They finally called me sometime before 5:00 to say my room was ready. We waited 6 hours! Will not be going back!!
