While there Tuesday, I dropped 2 $50 bills folded together while playing a slot machine. I didn't realize until later. I assumed someone made out without winning. I also assumed asking at the player's club would be fruitless. I didn't have to. Someone found them at the machine I was playing , turned them in and The Meadows was able to page me because of my card in the machine at that time and the security camera above the machine identified me after dropping the money. While a bit scary about all the surveillance, I'm glad it's there. And thank you to the honest person turning the money in! They told me with the surveillance, if that person would have put it in a machine, security would be on them! Thank you, again! Alexandria

Nice place. Clean. First time ever there or at a casino. Had boyfriends company Christmas party there. Good food!! Free coffee. Won a few dollars. My only down side, I'm not a smoker and it was a little smokey. Eyes inched and burned, along with my throat. Other than that I had an excellent time!! Definitely would go back.

Went for a kids birthday party at the bowling alley. There is no signage to direct you from the exterior and you can only use the entrance furthest to the east marked Racetrack. The security staff at all other entrances were rude and provided unclear directions. This initial experience soured an otherwise good event. The bowling alley is reasonably priced and has a private party room that was great for the kids.

Been here before. At times the slots do good, at times not so good. But, I've came here at night before, just being bored so I decided to take a trek to this casino. Nevertheless, when I play the slots, I like to play in peace. Well, I can't blame the Meadows for this, but at times at night late, you'll find a couple moochers hanging around the play flooranyway, a couple of times I've had these guys come up and smile, and say hey how ya doinbut, they were obviously trying to talk me into giving them money on slots, I did a couple times, but they kept hounding me so I got kind of mad and said no, no more money! I'm kind of shy, so it's hard for me to say get lost, but that's what I should have done! Or informed the Casino, which I didn't. I think I noticed the same guy going over to a lady playing too. Very uncomfortable and annoying when you have these kinds of beggars on the play floor late at night! And to boot, I'm poor myself, so why would I want to be hounded for money???? Ha! Nice, clean casino though.

I drive a truck for a living, and when I have some down time I like to stop at a casino for some recreation and good food. Got to this place and parked in a faraway lot that was EMPTY. Less than 5 minutes later security was telling me I couldn't park there - even if I was going in to spend money! I guess a trucker's money isn't good enough for them

Great staff, friendly people, old games. I don’t come here very often, maybe once every six months. My wife likes to go. I tend to pay attention to things around me I noticed little details. The fact that most of the staff were always smiling and being helpful to other people even when no one seem to be looking. How security was more than just a bunch of people standing around, they seem to take an active interest and telling people how to get around and offering assistance. I even noticed the security guard in helping to jumpstart a vehicle in the parking garage. They have free drinks via the waitresses, and also an area that you can get free soda pop and coffee along the wall.

The building is not that old, but I do feel that they specifically cater to an older clientele. I can’t speak much for the table games, but the slot machines seemed to be very old. The technology was newer, but all seem to be the same game we’re just a little wrapper on it. The newer more entertaining games were very sparse. People would line up to play these new games while older games that were not interactive sat on used.

Free parking, free drinks, and a good staff are very helpful. But I’m not very inclined to spend my money there.

Has gone way way downhill with new owners. Food subpar. Dirty outside driveway. Slot hosts as accommodating as they are allowed to be. High personnel turnover. Even the new GM quit! Advertise loose slots but after thousands went home completely broke. Shame. Good location but not attractive in any other respect.

Wow I still wish this was
I love the meadows!!!! Great staff!! My host Daneen is AMAZING!! Meadows is a nice clean casino with plenty of gambling, drinks, and food selections! I typically do really well gambling here unlike Rivers (cannot stand that place) even if you don't win big at Meadows you can at least play for a long time and do not lose your money quickly. I live less than 5 mins away from rivers and ALWAYS rather make the drive to Meadows.

We have been here several times to eat at the Carvery. The food has always been good and the service friendly. It's clean and has a very nice view of the race track. We have been tempted into putting a couple dollars into a soy machine here and there. As our luck is non-existent we never win anything lol. Very nice casino with a lot of parking etc. pay a visit.

It's a quite large rural casino, with all the things you'd expect from a large rural casino (including, unfortunately, smoking). Extra star for having quality harness racing--which is super entertaining and under appreciated. The food, drinks, and entertainment options otherwise should not surprise you.

If you want to gamble without traveling a long distance, I bet this place would get the job done for you. If you appreciate harness racing, a long trip may be appropriate. Of course, to reiterate other reviews, if smoking bothers you, the air quality system here is decent but far from perfect.

I will note that the staff is generally less surly than what I remember from the rural casino in my home town.

Great staff and very friendly atmosphere. Love being able to see horse races. They also have kind nights a couple times a year and my kids love it. Bounce houses, food and horses is a sure fire way to keep the kids happy. Recommend this place to everyone.

    The medical staff are great.
    I wasn't even a customer.
I walked in after a fall, and they still cleaned me up. My wrist and hand, were torn open, bleeding badly.

I was only there to catch the bus!
Very pleased! The place is immaculate.
    Thank you!

Been here 3 times. Love it. Slots are new and fun. Racing is perfect. Don't always win but don't mind it, if we are having fun. Can't wait to go back.

I don't always win here, but my chances are far greater here than they are at the Rivers. Not to mention the great deal on all you can eat crab legs and prime rib on Friday nights. Joe's Crab shack needs to hire who ever does the Crab at the Meadows because they are much better. I also feel really relaxed here. The atmosphere at The Meadows is so much better than at the Rivers
