This is potentially the weakest casino ever. It's just not exciting, nor is it very entertaining. There are at least 100 better casinos in the United States. however, the fact that this is the only casino within miles, if you are a neighbor, or just starting at the resort, go ahead. Try it out. You might get lucky.

I love to play slots and video poker. So, when on the road I love to check out casinos I've never been to. I live in Columbus, Ohio and this past weekend I had to be in NJ. Last time I did this drive I visited the casino in downtown Pittsburgh on the return drive; this time, I thought I'd swing by the Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin. If you're not rich, don't make the mistake I did and drive there hoping to find a reasonably price hotel/motel nearby. The casino is literally in a very remote, very rural corner of the state. The one and only hotel nearby is the very luxurious Nemacolin Woodland Resort, 1/2 mile up the road. I knew I was in trouble as soon as entered the driveway and had to "check in" with a guard. This is a very expensive, upscale resort where rich people chill. This is not where you want to stay for a night on the road unless you can afford hundreds of dollars! There were no other hotels/motels within miles of the casino. What a waste of time and gas. Considered yourself warned!.

This is one of the worst casinos in p.a Go to wheeling or my favorite the Meadows. Lady luck has new ownership. All the slots have changed and you don't win anything. 'New computer chips installed' payout a lot lower. I was told this by a host there. You get no comps from them. Food is bad and half the employee's are disrespectful and miserable. This use to be a 4 star casino to me a few years ago. You won't even have a chance to have fun losing your money there.

We are not gamblers, but we went for dinner at our host's recommendation because we are not from this area. The person who seated us was going to put us right in the middle of a high traffic area, so we asked for another table. He seemed rather put out, pointed to another table and said, "This is the ONLY other table I have available. " There were several empty tables open, but that one worked for us.

Because there is smoking allowed in the casino, we asked if it was allowed in the restaurant and were told no. What we weren't told is the restaurant is wide open to the casino and could still smell the smoke.

The high point of the experience was our server, Kaylee. She took very good care of us. I ordered the lasagna and my wife had the chicken parmesean. The server who brought our dishes set the lasagna in front of me and the chicken halfway across the table from my wife and left it there. WTH???? The chicken part was tasty but the pasta was way overcooked and mushy. I took two bites of the lasagna and sent it back. It was horrible. Kaylee apologized about 4 times and brought me a perfectly prepared cheeseburger as a replacement.

You could not pay us to go back. The 1 star is only because Kaylee was so wonderful and it was her birthday.

Well it's gone down hill a lot for players who are into the players advantage programs. For example I became a platinum member because the perks, well they weren't great since it was mostly geared for food comps and stuff. Considering Meadows casino, you could get free food just by accompanying a platinum member to their VIP lounge and eating all you could eat for free.

But back to Lady Luck, with their platinum program you could get comped I think $20 one time a day with no hassle. But now they got cheap on players and will only give you that platinum food comp if you earn like 10,000 points just to get that daily comp. The hosts Lana and Shane are terrific and generous but their boss the executive host "John Vane" is pathetically cheap. I racked up like 5,000 points one night and Was penniless and I asked him for a basic food comp that any player can get from hosts based on their play that day and he said "I don't know let's see what you went through today" and I said I'm cheap so I don't want much maybe something between $5 to $25 and he joked saying "my man, cheap is the good. I can hook you up". Him hooking me up was a $10 comp

First In Case you've somehow over looked this pretty important detail this casino is 1 of the 2 private casino's in Pennsylvania. Anyone can go but have to pay a cover charge of $10 per person to enter. There wasn't much of a selection as far as slot machines go and the ones they did have weren't hitting for anyone. There seemed to be several table games but few were open and the house was kicking everyone's ass! Based on my experiences I won't be visiting lady luck again..

Friendly staff, small casino feel though seeing as I usually go to the Rivers as I live a lot closer to there. Always very clean and the food is solid as well. Only 4 stars because of no poker room.

I had a great visit!! I wasn't aware due to gaming/gambling laws if you're not a Nemacolin guest you must immediately pay $10.00 just to walk through the door. That being said you can use it on anything inside the casino except to gamble but you will have to pay this every time you go and you aren't a guest. But I'm going back!@

I was only in the casino and the restrooms there so that is what I am reading. The casino was clean but they charge you $10 to get in. They also give you a $10 gift card that you can use in the casino for anything other than gambling. I guess that would be okay for some, but I would rather have had that $10 to spend for gambling. The games were boring. It was nothing that was exciting, and the whole time I was there, which was hours, I don't think anybody won anything worthwhile. You see, I don't mind dropping $300 if I'm having fun doing it. This was not a fun casino to me. Not at all. I will say, that be food in the restaurant was wonderful.

I was driving back to Ohio and happened on this little casino and I'm so happy I did. It's very clean and the staff was super friendly. I have never in my life had to pay to enter a casino. Something about it being a private casino which I found fascinating and upon leaving was looking up everything about it. They do give you the $10 back in a gift card so I was ok with it. I really enjoyed my time there.
