Its a very noisy motel. Right off Highway 1, the traffic is very loud. Walls are thin so hear next door. Expensive considering the traffic blowing past at 10pm.

Staff friendly. Rooms minimal but clean.

Clean, cute, very basic/sparse hotel room for $300. Iron headboard with flimsy, flat pillows make it hard to sit up in bed and watch tv. Very thin walls. Could hear banging, noise and tv next door. Right on PCH so street noise is very loud. Ear plugs supplied by hotel. For $300 there should be a side table on BOTH sides of the bed. Internet was very spotty. No phones in room to contact front desk. Ice is handed out in front office. Not sure what you do for ice after hours?? Bed was comfortable. Makeup lighting not good in bathroom. Good water pressure for shower. Great area behind hotel to hike up to watch the sun set behind the mountains!

WiFi is terrible. It works in the office. But the minute we entered the room it disconnects. One chair in the room, very sparce furnishings. I guess to look modern, but it just looks like furniture is missing. Clean room.

PCH too loud. When you check into your room and find ear plugs on the bedside table, that’s a good indication that maybe this isn’t the place?

Over priced and bad location. The rooms 100 - 104 is on ground floor and feels like you are living in a basement.

Pros: great location, nice evening breeze, newly remodeled (2016).
Cons: Parking, lack of basic amenities (i.e. no iron), annoying morning cleaning crew.

This was the perfect beach-side hotel. Wifi was great, bathroom was just enough and the balconies were a great touch. Came here for a business trip and really enjoyed the location. Restaurants and happening spots all so close and the beach is literally right there.

Great little hotel. Waking up to a sunrise view of the ocean is very much a treat. I liked it so much I decided to stay two nights. Very laid back atmosphere, the manager is awesome. The rooms are extremely clean with complimentary waters in the fridge and organic soaps, shampoo, and lotion in the bathroom. I will definitely be staying at the M Malibu next time I'm in town.

The hotel was very easy to find and was located in the middle of all the activities we had planned, so that was great. The staff was very nice, and housekeeping was on top of it each morning. This is not a beach front property, but your within minutes and walking distance of everything.

Funky contemporary decor. Our first room was #102, ceiling had a piece cut out in the bathroom??. There was no ventilation and the walls had condensation. We moved to room #204 which had a small balcony and sliding glass doors. Good air flow. I like this place but feel it's a bit overpriced.
