The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, they delivered anything I needed (bowls, plates, water even a pencil!). The entire staff was upbeat, accommodating and happy to please. The staff is probably the best part of the experience at staying at the Lenox Hotel.
I was able to get my room serviced whenever I wanted (e.g. 10pm). The sheets, floor and overall room was clean. They offered robes for convenience, the hotel essentials (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) and more (mouthwash).response / report this review -

Justin and Peter are the friendliest bellman ever! They walked to get us hot chocolate and hooked us up with free drinks. This hotel is amazing! Beautiful. Hands down the best place to stay in Boston Back Bay area. Felt safe and the people are so friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Came in to use the bathroom from the Irish bar next door. Hotel looks fun, elegant and clean. Bathroom was clean and no one hassled us for using it I think it is the planned restroom for the bar(s) connected to the lobby.

I've stayed at many hotels in Boston, but The Lenox Hotel is by far one of the best experiences I've ever had. The second we pulled up to the hotel, we were greeted by the doorman Peter who had the greatest sense of humor and immediately made us feel so welcome. We entered the hotel, it was stunning! Beautiful detail with modern historic touches. Casey the concierge and the other front desk agents were so friendly and accommodating of our requests as this was a surprise stay for a friend's birthday. The Hotel staff treated us to some cocktails for the occasion and made phenomenal recommendations on where to go and what to do during our stay. Scot one of the managers made a point to personally check in on us and make sure that we were enjoying our time so far.
I cannot say enough great things about our experience. Even though the hotel was at capacity and booked up with events and conferences we were made to feel like we were the only guests staying in the hotel.
I highly recommend The Lenox to anyone looking for superior customer service, beautiful accommodations, located right in the heart of Boston. You will not be disappointed!response / report this review -

When you book a hotel all you see is the price. So it's really hard to get a feel for things. But when you get there you realize what the heck you're paying for. It's really the little things. It's the apple cider at the end of the night it's. the maid that comes to turn down your bed. Amazingly friendly concierge and doorman even at 6 in the morning. The guy waiting with the umbrella when it rains. The free stuffed animal they gave my two-year-old son when we checked in. All these create an unbelievable experience that makes the price all forgotten

Lovely hotel! Appreciated the free amenities. Forgot my toothpaste and they delivered it for me. Food was great. Only complaint was that it was a bit pricey. Fabulous experience for business travel.

The Lenox Hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of Back Bay, an area bustling with shopping and restaurants. The staff welcomed us on arrival with smiles, restaurant recommendations, and stuffed animals for the kids. The rooms were clean and quiet and elegantly appointed. There's coffee and fruit in the morning, and cookies and juice in the afternoon. The fridge is stocked with two water bottles everyday. The only complaint we have is that the elevators are heavily perfumed for some reason, and the kids wish there was a pool, but other than that everything has been perfect!!!

This is always my go-to suggestion for people wanting to stay in the city and to have an elegant, though not over the top experience. The lobby is very warm and inviting with a great fireplace and seating area. City Table and City Bar both have excellent drinks and food (get the soft pretzels! You'll thank me later!) While prices are not cheap, they are certainly standard for Boston. The rooms themselves are very nice and depending on the season, can be very reasonably priced. While I had a free stay that I had won from a charity auction, I have stayed previously and gotten a very fair deal. The rooms are actually quite spacious for a Boston hotel and the bathrooms are very clean and crisp with great accents. The large closets complete with water and robes is an awesome touch. Overall I would definitely suggest anyone stay here who is looking for a touch of luxury without the insane price tag of a Ritz or Four Seasons.

Only went there for drinks in the lounge. Nice intimate area with a good atmosphere. Very small with limited seating but drinks are good. Could be somewhat pricey.

I visit the restaurants and bars on the ground floor every time I'm in Boston; Solas Irish pub, and City Table. Both are excellent, and the hotel lobby is quite nice as well. Haven't stayed at hotel yet. If I ever do, will probably upgrade to a 5 star rating

Ate brunch at City Table. Order had to be corrected more than once. Food was fine, but nothing special. Bar missing basic ingredients. Nothing awful, but not what I would have expected. Will not return.

A beautifully historic hotel nestled right in the heart of downtown Boston. Just a few steps from limitless choices of dining, shopping, and entertainment.
While the rooms are on the smaller side, this luxurious hotel pays strict attention to the details. The cozy, inviting lobby greets you with a beautiful fire, and a hot chocolate marshmallow station.
From a friendly turn down service to the front desk that somehow memorized my name, I really love any chance I get to stay at this amazing hotel.response / report this review
