Just don't..
Joe is great. Extremely helpful and accommodating. We had a 2 yr reservation delay that he worked with us on!
Charming, private, rustic cabin. Surprisingly spacious for a couple. Spacious kitchen. Great, gas fireplace and indoor hot tub surrounded by windows. I love that the properties around you do not obstruct the views. Very quiet. Large porch with swing. Great look. By rustic, I mean that you will not see high end appliances here but it has what you need. Gas grill on its last leg. Quirks. Bed was too hard for us.
They say you could put a car up this mountain and I see locals (at the cost of their transmissions and shocks) that do but the bumps and steepness are better suited to a truck, especially in the pitch dark. 5 stars within reach commuters with nature types will love it, luxury types maybe not for you.
I can not believe how beautiful this area is. I attended an annual music festival there, and if you are looking for a safe alternative to rustic camping, or a cabin getaway this is the place for you. The hard packed roads wind though Cohutta, some of the last Old Growth Forest in the United States. Even walking around in the dark woods in the middle of the night, there was not a wild animal in sight. Dog friendly.
These folks (I think his name is Bill) have taken a rough section of wilderness, created an area for camping and recreation with almost no visual impact on the environment and created an almost magical environment for one, or 1500. The business also contributes to the local economy as well.
Perfect place for a deep woods wedding, with close by well-kept and stocked cabins to start that Honeymoon Fever! Roads can get muddy in rainy season, so motorcycles and mini-vans should check conditions when inquiring about bookings.
If they had paved roads I'd give it 5 stars.
great cozy cabins with mountain views and indoor cabins! Blue Ridge is a beautiful town in the North Georgia Mountains!
Awesome view and hot tub.
