Would have been better if one floor was table games, and one floor slots. Also a better selection of slots would be beneficial as well as slots taking tickets.

It's been some time since I was there. I enjoyed the table games immensely, however, I agree with the one comment. It IS NOT HANDICAP ACCESSABLE. No elevators, narrow stairways with steep incline. The food is on second floor sooo..

The boat is not handicap suited, you can get to the first level but that's it, you have to climb stairs that are thin and dangerous. The dinner buffet is not a buffet the food is lacking in taste and portions size, the stools are made for short people, they barely are three feet tall, who are they accommodating migets, The club with band consisted of one man with a saxophone and iPhone. The shop smelled musty. The best employees were the bartenders and wait staff, as for the others smoking, sitting on their behind and ignoring consumers.

The food is better than I expected. It's no five star experience, but it's fresh and well prepared. On Saturday night (10/21/17) I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and fried fish.
I only play roulette and I only bet on the outside. I've been twice and both times it's a five dollar minimum and $250 maximum on outside bets.
Some dealers are better than others (no surprise). I just can't believe the range though. There was one guy who paid me on several bets I lost! There's more of the other end where careless dealers remove the chips of winners. I think I caught most of those (I hope).
It takes about an hour from departure until they open up the tables, so the slower you can eat, the less time you have to wait. Also, there's no comfortable place to sit outside, which is where I go to warm up. It's freezing inside on all three decks.response / report this review -

Loved being out on the water late at night. They serve you a meal and a snack before bringing you back to shore. Meanwhile you can play craps, slots, bingo, or card games and other Vegas type activities.

It was a good date evening. They fed us dinner on the way out into the deep water. Played games for a few hours and then had breakfast on the way back.

After placing a $15 bet straight up on a single number on roulette and winning, the dealer only paid me for $10 dollars worth and said that was the cap and returned my 5$. Feeling cheated because I lost several spins prior and him not mentioning a cap until I won.. no signs or rules posted.. feel they make it up as they go.

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE NEGATIVE POSTS OFFERED UP BY PAST CUSTOMERS. " PLACE DIRTY, STAFF RUDE, CARPET DIRTY, FOOD LOUSEY, ETC". MY WIFE AND I DROVE UP FROM JACKSONVILLE FOR THE AFTERNOON CRUISE LAST FRIDAY. AFTER READING SOME OF THE COMMENTS FROM UNHAPPY PEOPLE, WE WERE ADMITTEDLEY, A LITTLE CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WHAT WE FOUND WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. THE FOOD WAS FINE! EVERY STAFF PERSON WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL! THE BOAT INSIDE DID NOT SMELL LIKE AN ASHTRAY! DEALERS AND PIT PEOPLE WERE BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND FUN! I DID NOT SPECIFICALLY EXAMINE THE CARPET, BUT I THINK IT WAS CLEAN AND FRESH. VERY FUN TRIP. WE ARE GOING BACK.

Food was the best part of the trip. However, it is way too smoky for non smokers to actually enjoy themselves.
Either make designated smoking sections or outside deck for smoking or get better ventilation for comfort of all passengers.
A lot of people got sea sick and it took staff quite a while to clean it up. I suggest having a store to Tylenol or motion sickness meds for purchase.response / report this review -

After reading reviews, I was expecting the worst. I'll have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. We skipped eating, so I can't comment on that. We spent most of the time playing blackjack. Jeff, our dealer was very nice and helpful. The big guy at the craps table was also very nice and helpful. It was good to see $5, $10, and $25 blackjack tables, and a no-smoking table. The smoke was much less than Cherokee. The boat has a little age on her, but everything was clean. We overheard some people complaining about getting nauseous, but it is a boat. I will definitely do it again. I'm seeing a golf/gambling weekend in the near future.

All I'm saying is call ahead--Gambling is illegal in GA and to get around this they set sail into international waters. Mondays they do not do sail because of low attendance. Reading this online, we opted for Tuesday. We arrived only for some kid who worked there to tell us they are not sailing this day because "it'd be a waste of fuel." We can still play he tells us (just slots) , but can not cash out until the next sail date, which would be the following Wednesday. Tuesday was our last full day

I took my son and a friend there on a birthday cruise, and i should have known what to expect for "free". First, the "free admission" was great, along with the "free parking". Second, the "free food" was abysmal. Definite portion control, and I mean to the extent of a small tv dinner. The food was unimaginative and bland, and the salad was a joke. Again, what should one expect for free. Third, while the drinks were not "free", they were certainly well priced, $4 each, and not skimpy on the alcohol. But lastly, this crew had an attitude. Why? With a capacity of 650 people, I doubt this ship had more than 200 passengers this past Friday. And as one might guess, this was definitely a money losing venture for the Emerald Princess. And wow, did they come out firing the last hour gambling. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, came out a loser on this trip. In the last hour, an "unseen" dealer, all night long, suddenly shows up and comes to our blackjack table. Honestly, this foreigner was a real prick, had nothing to say, kept looking at his watch, and was of no help or guidance to any of the players at the table. No coaching, no adding up your cards, no talk, no nothing. He was totally there for one reason and for one reason onlyto clean up the table, recoup all our winnings, get us reaching in our pockets, and take us to the cleaners. And he did just that! Our table, before he came, was probably up around $500. And by his last dealt hand, we had all lost everything and more, close to $2500. So, in less than one hour, this jerk dealer came in as a "sweeper" and swept us all clean. I should have expected this, for "free", but damn the courtesy and good will. He was out for blood and had a short timetable to do this, thus his looking at his watch. I will not be going back. I don't like this kind of approach and gamble quite a bit outside the Florida/Georgia area. Rude, rude, rude!

Unbelievable- simply a rip off. Save your money and go somewhere else - the gas station ding dings are better than this sinking ship. The machines are set so high I doubt they ever pay out. Four hours and I didn't see anyone hit anything. Pathetic
