Ordered lunch for delivery - the spicy veggie fried rice and it was delivered quickly and probably some of the best fried rice I have ever had. Will definitely order lunch for delivery from them again.
This place is wonderful. Great place to take a date. Highly recommend.
My curry was so cloyingly sweet that I couldn’t eat very much and I felt sick afterwards. My egg roll and soup were good, however.
Seafood combo, vegetable fried rice, crab rangoons, and pud beef, all ordered for delivery on a Monday night. Food arrived after an hour or so. Now I'm not a picky eater, but the rice smelled a bit like wet dog and the seafood combo was extremely fishy, as in it tasted like straight up seaweed. The beef had enough biotin thickener to solidify it into a jello overnight and the crab rangoons were only slightly above average. However, everything was about as spicy as I'd expect for a 2 out of 4.
Dont get me wrong, the food was plenty edible, but what got me was the $80 price tag for food at the same quality as maybe $30 spent at any run of the mill China House/China King.
The Panang curry was really good. Slightly more peanuts than other Thai restaurants I've been to, but it was really good. The "native Thai" is hot, but not as hot I was hoping for.
The only place to go for top quality Thai food. There are other Thai restaurants in MKE, King and I is by far the best.
Mis-managed restaurant... understaffed!
Food was ok but waiting over an hour (after told it would take 20 minutes) ruined the experience. Not going to return.
The best Thai food in Milwaukee. We love sitting in the main dining room where you can see into the kitchen. The squid is a family favorite.
COLLEGE STUDENTS READ. My friend and I thought wanted to get some Thai food and we thought this location was worth a shot. The place is nice, and I guess that's what you are paying for with these overpriced meals. I had the drunken noodles, which was absolutely average at best. Portion size was ridiculously small for 14 dollars. If you have money to blow, come here, if not go elsewhere.
Phenomenal food! Mango curry is amazing and has giant chunks of mango, vegetables, and chicken. Portions are big. I'm from Philadelphia and hope to come back to Milwaukee just for this amazing food!!!
The place is fancy. Nice decoration. The service is very good but the food is NOT WOW! I experienced better Thai restaurants in Milwaukee area!
If you like Thai and haven't eaten here yet, then you're missing out. Probably some of the best authentic Thai I've had. Great ambiance with good prices.
Food is good. Location is historic. Interior decorations are dated but classy. Service - dining is okay. Carry out, that's another story.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner and had great service. We were the only folks at the restaurant at the time, which was kind of nice. Their spice-ranking on the menu makes me laugh. We had some veggie rolls, some fried rice, and some drunken noodles - all were great. They do an excellent job with their tofu here.
I put in a to-go order at 530pm. I was told 35 minutes. I showed up at 6pm. Paid. Waited. Other patrons came into the restaurant while I was waiting. I saw them get seated. I saw them order. I even saw them get their food. I was still standing in the lobby waiting for mine. An HOUR later I received my food. The hostess wouldn't even make eye contact with me. She was unfriendly.
I do wonder if I was being punished somehow. I invited a homeless guy into the restaurant with me. He was begging for money, so I invited him in and bought him dinner. Maybe she didn't appreciate me bringing in someone unkempt to their nicer establishment and punished me for doing so.
Won't Return.
