Went and saw Les Miserables. Had seats in balcony row g center stage. Excellent sound quality and visuals. Just hard to see the actors faces from that height. Still an excellent show!
The seats could be a little more comfortable.
Have never been disappointed with any performance that I have seen here! Everyone is very helpful. The building is always clean. Getting out of the parking garage can really be quite the wait sometimes.
We went to see School of Rock Musical. It was awesome, I really enjoyed it. The halls before you enter the theatre are crowded with groups of people chatting before the performance. They have beverage stands and you may purchase alcohol but I'm not sure if you can take it in the theatre. My only problem was the balcony seating. The top balcony has very uncomfortable chairs and small aisle ways. We had to stand up every time someone was walking past to get in their seats. If you want to go, I recommend floor seating. They look like they had more space down there.
Every time we come her we feel great. The staff/team of mostly volunteers are helpful. The bathrooms are clean.
If I were to have a complaint, it'd be the bathroom lines during intermission. They can't fix that issue, but I can by drinking less water before a show.
Hope you enjoy the show, whatever that might be : )
Do not miss your opportunity to tour the art work in the lobby. It's really something. Theaters have okay acoustics. Not terrible, not fabulous. If you are between shows, there is a decent bar that serves wine, bourbon, and brews. Some of the displays are pretty cool. I loved the lizard exhibition though the lady overseeing it could not tell you which Harry Potter dragon was like which lizard.
This is an amazing place where people gather together and talk about different issues. All people are treated equally without consideration of who you are or where you are from.
This is a beautiful venue. There is a restaurant with awesome food. They have excellent staff. The shows cater to everyone's taste. I love it.
We attended a fund raising event and had dinner. We had a blast and loved the place
Went to Broadway's little mermaid and Yuja wang's concert here and both were splendid. The place has paid parking which is worth it considering it's situated right in the middle of the city
Drinks were actually reasonably priced! Saw Mamma Mia there and was 3rd row back, and sound was awesome. Even stayed cool in there despite being 99 degrees outside. Easy parking, restrooms managed to move quickly despite long lines at breaks. Great experience!
Nice setting for a theatric venue. Extremely long rows to sit in. Sight lines are excellent. Seats are cozy.
I was here for the Vertical Three conference as part of the Free Will Baptist national convention, and no matter how many times I got lost or turned around, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Main hall was very nice and up to date, with comfy seats and great sound.
We love the Broadway Series. Get season tickets every year. The Louisville Orchestra is fantastic as well. The KCFTPA is a gem for Louisville.
The staff are always very informative and kind. The shows are wonderful! Love my trips there!
Another wonderful place to see live music and events but it's newer then the historic brown theater and across theatre of Louisville. I used to shoot some live events here like Eric Church, Disney on Ice, even Taylor Swift! They have wonderful shows and it's really good for the city too! Most bigger bands are gonna be drawn to the center so make sure you go as often as you can to see bigger artists. The prices are fair too.
