This is a spot for people who are more inclined towards history. The statue and bridge are structures that are aesthetically pleasing to look at and admire. This location offers no extreme excitement or jaw dropping inspiration. However the daily lighting of the fire at night is a spectacle worth witnessing.

    Nice place
Has a lot of information on Indigenous Peoples. They also have one day Dances here. Small place though. It also has nice pathways to walk on to the tho rivers junction.

A great place for a family outing. The views of the Keeper are awesome, and the area is great for Pokemon hunting or learning at Exploration Place. You can't go wrong when you visit here!

Great place to take a walk and see some local statues/memorials. I took the kids and they had a blast!
There are homeless that live under the bridges along the river. Be aware of your surroundings.

My kids and I love to explore different parts of this exhibit. We always find something different to see and usually learn a few new things.

A beautiful historical monument at the gorgeous converging of two rivers. This was a regular place for me to spend summer nights walking by the river and talking with friends. Also, a very nice (and free) date location.

This is a beautiful place to visit no matter what time of year. We enjoy taking our out of state guests to Wichita just to see "The Keeper of the Plains" and no matter their age they always love it I most definitely recommend taking anyone young or old because it's one of the most beautiful sights in the state of Kansas.

The Keeper Walkway is a great place for your daily walk or jog!
Always clean and well maintained, the nightly ring of fire is cool.
I grew up in the nearby Delano district, and I am proud of the Wichita downtown improvements , The Keeper of the plains, and especially all the Riverwalk improvements.
    Proud to be from Wichita!

We love the keeper! The steam that comes up between the rocks on the ground is a nice touch! It is a lovely place to go to relax, or get exercise and learn about our city's history. The only hangup I have is, there isn't enough parking. You have to get there 30 minutes before they light up the torches during the summer if you want a parking spot.

Seeing the fire at night is lots of fun. The walking/jogging/biking path on the east side of the river is well lit and has lots of places to sit and relax. Great place to spend a low-key evening!

Great place. An Indian monument with many facts about Indian life. Also at night they light it up with gas bonfires. Home to a Pokemon gym and completely surrounded by poke stops. Tons of wild life in the area. Great photo opportunities.

My friend took my to the Keeper of the Plains and we spent at least an hour in the vicinity of the statue. The experience was very spiritual and peaceful. The visitors there were very respectful of the area and I was taken with the calm and serenity that I felt. The statue itself presented deep meaning for me and
