I hate this club , went on a Friday night (Latin night )the music is good , I like the style and vibes of the club, but they LET TOO MANY PEOPLE IN, every song I tried to dance too I got hit in the face and was ready just to get kicked out and fight these drunks that don’t know how to not jump around and realize it’s too small to be doin the most 🙄🙄 it’s good and all but they should only allow a certain amount of people in. I feel like it’s worst than prana on a Saturday night honestly!!! At prana it doesn’t get pack enough that your hitting people in the face like that. Other than that , club was nice

Joe the bouncer tends to let only "pretty" girls in. Even if he knows they are underage. Kicked my best friend out on her 21st birthday for "sneaking her underage friends in" even though he let them in in the first place. Very shady place. Surprised the cops didn't shut them down yet. Tells 19 year olds to "come back at 10 o'clock" I just find it to be a unethical environment. Stay away from here. I am of age and always have been since I started going there. Shady security. Watch out.

I retract my last review my advice is go on friday night latin things get popping really quick so get there at happy hour. Cool place to hang out but if you like dancing that dance floor gets crowded very fast so fell the crowd out. Before hitting the dancefloor.

Great service even with lack of bartenders. I love that it has 3 different rooms. It gives you options of 2 different types of music. And a middle area to talk and meet people without loud music.

Frankly, I'm 44 years young and I have no clue what these folks in theri 30's and 40's are yapping about?! Dude, it's a party club where you go and do THAT! My wife and I skateboard down there from our house on Albanythe bouncers even agree to hold onto our Loaded and Carver skateboards in a secure location while we go in and partyWife is 37 and I'm 44we simply haven't had one issue there in over a year of living in SOHO / Hyde Park! So far = HPC is a class act imho. Skate Rat at 40+get it!

Saturday offered an all you can drink option from 9-11 for $10. The outside patio area is very cozy until it gets busy; however there are many steps and it can be a little precarious for those in heels. The inside bar has a dance floor and seating against one wall.

Went there for happy hour, was barely able to get anything to drink. The bar looked understaffed as everyone huddled around. Plus the cover is 10 in cash but 12 on card. Make sure you bring cash!!

Smoke machines and strobe lights were done in both rooms was overkill. Too smoky and the strobes were flashing constantly at times, hard to see or focus & I didn't even drink anything. Bartenders were adept (I got water) and polite. Music good!!! 2 diff rooms but 2nd room by bathrooms were not labeled. I didn't know there were there till half way through my night, maybe they should put some signs on the doors.

Had a limo party of 10 ppl and the bouncer or whoever stands outside in black said we will see our kids in there and suggested we not go in. WTF?? And we are all in our 30 and 40's. Who cares who's inside. We wanted to go in for the music and atmosphere not the crowd! I hope the owner reads this because that guy is costing you a LOT of money if he gets to choose who goes inside and who doesn't. We took our money to franklin manor and ended up having an amazing night! They were professional and polite. I definitely will recommend my "older" friends to go there instead since we aren't welcome at HPCafe! Jerk.

Can't beat $10 happy hour. I suggest getting there early as the line gets very long. My favorite night is Friday, Latin night. Music is very good!! I wish there was more space (maybe make both sections Latin) but the overall experience is fun.
