Action filled yet peaceful!! We learned so much. Heath was s great teacher (especially for beginners really wanting to learn). True North Carolinian! Knows the rivers and area very well, he loves the outdoors. We are already wanting to go back this summer!

Great representation of the local MTB community in Brevard, NC. Perfect place to unwind after a long haul in Pisgah.

    Bike repair + service Experts!
Visited the area for a weekend of riding, a Critical part broke on the first day = Dropped off 15 Minuets before closing for a 'try' to fix for next day and left it overnight. They had bike fixed ready to roll by 10:30AM Sunday Morning. Beyond Outstanding service. Saved the day!

Bike shop and bar. Didn't try the bar, so my review is based on the bike shop. Really good prices, really large selection, including used bikes, and friendly staff. Was a little crowded, but definitely recommend checking out.

Had the tire size I needed to save my Pisgah trip when no one else in town did, plus was willing to tackle rotating and sealing both tires tubeless near the end of the day when most shops would have shrugged their shoulders. Being able to have a cold beer while they got me rolling again was the icing on the cake.

Great vibe, chill staff and great beers on tap. Gear, service and bikes are super pricey.

Nice store. Truly caters to the biking crowd. We are hikers and they have a small hiking selection. Figured since they took over Back Country Outdoors and are at the entrance to Pisgah Forest the hiking selection would be better.

Let me get this straight. I can park my car here, go inside and get a great ride recommendation, embark on an epic ride from the parking lot, on some of the best trails anywhere, and then ride back to the Tavern, and order one (or three) of the many local and regional beers on tap, and then browse the bike shop, and then reminisce about the day's ride with my buddies on the patio and then order food from the pizza truck in the parking lot and this place exists? For real! And I can only reward 5 stars?

I cannot possibly imagine how you could improve upon the scenario I just described above?(Okay maybe if the Tavern had strippers, that would be pretty epic) But sans strippers If I somehow ever get stuck in some kind of time loop ala Bill Murray in Groundhog Day I hope it is that day I spent riding Black Mtn followed up by a visit to the Pisgah Tavern.

Awesome! We rented bikes from them which were reasonably priced and their service was awesome. Double checked to make sure the bikes were good to go, good suggestions about where to go given our ability level, and helped up load them up. Couldn't ask for more, except maybe a cold beer after our bike ride.oh wait, they have a bar with that too :)

The Hub is everything you'd want in a bike shop. I saw nothing that felt cheap or that they only sold you on to take your money, as they sometimes do at other bike shops.

Every product on the shelves is well built, no el cheap-o brands to make a mistake on. The extra money you spend on the retail markup is worth the convenience of getting it right the first time.

What an amazing, brand-new, huge facility With beer! The Hub has a great selection of everything you could ever need, not only for biking but also camping, hiking, and Did I mention the have beer? Everyone there was so nice and helpful, there was tons of stuff on sale, the store is well organized making everything easy to find, and at the end of a long day riding in Pisgah, you can stop by and have a cold beer. I love that place- can't wait to get back.
