Nice little bar/restaurant that stay open 24 hrs. (Bar till 2am) wings were great. They don't know a lot of mixed drink options outside of the usual drinks though. The prices for the mixed drinks didn't match the experience or establishment. They were a little higher than most places.
Decent beer selection. Haven't tried the food. 4 pool tables and other bar games. Occasional live music. I enjoyed the visit.
I would give it no stars if that was possible. I am a manager at a restaurant so I know how it goes. This place is terrible with the service. The waitress was so rude and nasty with my husband and I tonight 9/18/17. She was a horrible server never kept up with our drinks didn't provide us with silver wear, menus, or napkins. Then they messed our order up and when we told her, she laughed at us and told my husband that it was alright then walked away. She never bothered to offer to fix it or anything. We told another woman the problem and she never offered to fix it o5 apologized or anything. We never got refills then we waited 20 minutes for our bill after she took away all of our dishes including our drink cups. When sh3 came back with the bill there was no compensation for them messing up our order and when my husband asked why they didn't give us a discount or anything she gave is a nasty look and got rude with us and said no we don't give discounts for messed up orders and walked away. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. We won't ever be back. This was somewhere around the 10th time we had been there in a 3 month period we were really liking the place but this gas turned us off. No longer will we be spending a 100 dollars a visit on food and drinks. Absolutely awful. Don't waste your time.
Since the dawn of time people have been going g to the hitching post for food or drinks. While the place may seem a bit run down the food and service are top notch. It is a good place to get some local DuBois Flavor. . If you really want an adventure they rent rooms by the hour.
Good food. Friendly service. Place is a bit rundown. Owner doesn't seem to take pride in it enough to put money back into it. No air conditioning and tvs are going bad.
Stopped in around midnight for breakfast. I ordered the scramble (eggs, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms, onions all mixed up). For $9 I definitely expected more. It had 2 slices of sandwich cheese, barely melted, laying on top. The taste was ok, but the potatoes were not even close to cooked, tjey were hard. The bartender asked me how it was, I told her, and her response was "hmm, I'll let them know". I picked out all the potatoes which were a decent amount of the meal, paid full price and left. That's my 2nd and probably final meal from there that was not very good.
Food and service were great! Relaxed atmosphere.
I was told that the Hitching Post had the best breakfast. It did not disappoint!! NextI'm going to eat their wings!
Great pancakes and love playing pool or darts there.
Again satisfied, the staff the food always grade A perfection. I love it here
Very cosy place and great spot for drinks and a meal, Ana was a great host and customer service expert.
THE BEST BAR IN TOWN!!! BEST BAR FOOD I'VE EATEN!!! EVER!! THE SERVICE IS IMPECCABLE! Get the deep fried pickles with ranch if you know what's good for you (or probably not that good for you but they're delicious).
