This was a SCORE on many levels:

The FOOD: I had the Triple BBQ platter with Chipotle Mac-n-Cheese and the perfect Potato Salad! A side of Cornbread topped it off. Thanks Buster!

The Bar and Staff: The small bar is adorned with Fire Fighters patches as a well as Fire Engine motif through out. The owner Shawn introduced himself and made me, as well as others, feel very welcome.

I ended up sticking around a few extra hours after dinner. We shared mutual stories of our adventures in the Navy. Shawn also gave me some very interesting historical background of one of the oldest farmers market in the country!

in a town that seemed especially bland this bar was a saving grace, bartender was friendly, wings were great the sauces were great, and beer was well priced. the atmosphere in the bar was amazing. 5/7 recommend to everybody

I went to the Halligan for lunch today as a result of a random Google search and was not dissapointed. The wings and barbecue were really good with large portions. The decor is firehouse themed and the walls are covered in patches from fire houses all over the US.

The staff were excellent as well. Great to talk to and over all great service. The staff and owner are also very supportive of police, fire, and military personnel. I would definitely return her next time im in the area.
