My wife and I have been owners at the Grand View for over a year. We stayed there for the first time last weekend. Overall, a great and relaxing experience. The room was very clean and spacious. More than enough room for a family of 4 or 5. We were expecting a much more updated room like the one you view during your presentation but we understand that they are updating the rooms as they go so its no big deal. The location is excellent. Away from the strip but close enough to where you can get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. Southpoint being next door is an added bonus, with all of the amenities and restaurants available to Grand View guests .
We enjoyed our stay except for the owners presentation, which is basically a way for them to try to upgrade you to the point system. I wasn't a fan of the pushy nature of the sales people the first time and I wasn't a fan the second time around either. Providing information about what is available is great. Insisting that an owner upgrade and not taking a no answer the first time is borderline harassment. When an owner feels they are ready to upgrade, they will and the before and after treatment by the sales people once they figure out you are going to say no is night and day and atrocious.
This is a nice place with an alright location. Quiet if that is what you're looking for, but just across the street from the Southpoint Casino for the gamblers and drinkers. A solid accommodation and clean. With our timeshare, it usually is where we stay just cause its comfortable. Staff is quick to correct any issues or accommodate your needs or requests.
Really enjoyed our stay. The family stayed in an end room on the top floor of building 8, and it was super quiet. Room was clean and well stocked. We took advantage of the pools and the close walk to the South Point Casino. Great weekend!
We are owners of a few units and have stayed several times in the last couple of years. We've brought family and everyone of them have enjoyed their stay. The South Point being right across the street is really nice for food and entertainment options for everyone including kids, the food you can get from the pool is really good to. The strip is just a few minute drive or you can take the shuttle. Some buildings are older than the others and some are a little dated and could use upgrades, but they are still nice,
I'm a time share owner here and after my first stay I'm extremely disappointed with the hotel and will be finding a way to get out of my time share even if it means paying a lawyer to do so. First off I will say the rooms were nice. But we stayed in building 4 and the building smelled like fish most of the weekend. Then half way through the week we wanted them to come in and clean Tuesday. They said they would clean the rooms that day. Well Wednesday rolls around and linens had been removed from one room and haven't been replaced. The floors still obviously hadn't been swept or mopped. We called the front desk and they said they would get it fixed. Well later that day it still hadn't been cleaned so we called again and they informed us it would cost $50 to sweep and mop because that's not included in cleaning. What kind of hotel doesn't include basic cleaning. This place is nothing but a money grab. Once they get your money they don't care about the costumer. Don't even get me started on the joke that is owning a time share.
The bed is amazing and allowed for great sleeping experiences. The kitchen was a nice amenity to have although the dishwasher was old and didn't clean well. The spa we went to was not really warm enough to be called a hot tub. Otherwise location is great and has easy access to short drives to the strip and other attractions.
Very impressed with this hotel! Very nice rooms that feel like an apartment rather than a dinky hotel room. Good bed and great bathtub, shower, and bathroom in general. Great price to, a similar room on the strip would have been 3-4 times as expensive. They will try to get you to go listen to their time share pitch, but they aren't too pushy about it.
Beautiful place and atmosphere for all ages. Great for an adult trip or family vacation. Sales people at the timeshare center are extremely friendly. Ask for Howard German..he will explain everything and give you the grand tour. Super funny guy!! Not far from the strip and casino is right across the street!
We own a timeshare through the Grandview at Las Vegas. Not quite as upscale as they show you in the presentation. Nor do they have whirlpool tubs they originally showed. However we had a great stay. The rooms are very well furnished. Beds are comfortable. Couches could use some fluffing but that's beside the point. Pools were very nice, even though you burned your feet on the ground around the area, just bring flops. A lot more family oriented than I originally thought which may be nice one day. No casino or bar in the resort but literally across the street is one of the best options in Vegas for adult and family fun alike at the High Point Casino. All in all not much bad to stay and I've stayed all over Vegas. Really enjoyed the experience and hospitality I expect in Vegas. Watch out for them timeshare folks though.
My husband & I own two timeshare units here and are so glad we do. The location is perfect because it's close enough to the strip to drive or shuttle there without having to be in the huge crowds. Plus, the South Pointe casino is right next door if we want a quick casino fix. There are two pools with waterfalls and a hot tub, both kept very clean. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Our suite is beautiful and completely self-contained, which is nice so that we can cook for ourselves when we want & not have to eat out for every meal. Saves a ton of money. I love the roomy shower, large bathtub, and very comfortable bed. And the housekeeping staff keeps the unit very clean and well stocked. When we don't do an exchange vacation, we love to come here. So glad we invested.
Very disappointed. We were told this was a new property, only to find out it was NOT. Come to find out, it was actually a timeshare that they're adding NEW towers on the property. The rooms were decorated nicely, but overly crowded, and it seemed like their activities are all at the casino/bowling alley next door. I do not recommend sitting through their sales presentation. We were told it would take 120 minutes. We were considering buying in, but after 2.5 hours, we politely told them no, then it became worse than a car dealership! Only 4 hours later and having 3 different people come to our table to try and convince us with different options, then only were we given our "gifts" and allowed to leave. 1 salesperson, 1 finance guy/the boss, and then another guy in another room, and lastly, we had to wait in an area to receive our "gifts" for another 20 min, and even other guests were upset that their vacations were ruined and we were lied to about it only being 120 minutes, only to still be there 4.5 hours later! I do not recommend staying here, you definitely need a car, uber or taxi to get to the other casinos/shows/entertainment/restaurants. (Plus they're not respectful of your vacation time)
Great place. Room service should be better. When you stay for 8 days, and you get cleaning on second day and you only allowed one cleaning that should be told to guest on sign up.
Representative are great people to work with⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
the first day was amazing! staff was really nice, had a really good trip overall. we had signed up for a 'free breakfast buffet' in exchange for listening to a sales presentation. the salesmen were complete jerks. At one point when our sales guy realized he couldn't sell us a timeshare the manager came over and tried to tell my wife and I that we would get a divorce if we didn't buy one. not a good way to end our last day there and it ruined the whole experience for us.
First time staying here and we love it!! Our stay didn't feel like we were away from home. We got the one bedroom with a full kitchen which was good for us. We ate in the whole four days we stayed. The rooms were well decorated, it was clean. The only down fall was the pull out couch didn't have any sheets to put on them. It had a washer and dryer which was awesome! Plenty of parking and great location because we didn't get that traffic from the strip. We will definitely be back.
