So they are a bit pricey if you're used to sport clips and the like but you get what you pay for. These folks are all awesome. They do a great job. Nothing better then having a cocktail and a great haircut

One of my favorite places to go to get a relaxing straight razor shave and an amazing hair cut. They also do facials for men and with membership access to a whole host of different amenities. A must try for every guy out there! They also employ some of the most talented hair stylists In the business!

Love this place! Been a member for 4 years and I could never imagine going anywhere else. Friendly stylists who are invested in you having a great experience, great perks (complimentary bar, upkeeps, free vouchers for friends), and more. You’ve gotta give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Just had my first ever beard trim here with Holly and it was great. She cleaned it up in no time and it looks great now. Will make sure to be back in a few months when it needs to be cleaned up again. This place is really focused at making guys feel welcome and wish I had gotten here a bit earlier lounge around a bit. Great place!

Very nice / fancy salon for men. It’s on the more expensive side but an annual membership can bring down the cost in line with what I typically get in Chicago. It did take a few tries to get the haircut I want exactly but it’s worth it. Highly recommend and shout out to my stylist Anna.

Pretty good experience. Treatment and drinks provided with the pool table and overall atmosphere is pretty nice. Overall haircuts could be hit or miss but usually good which is why I didn't give a full five stars. Overall pretty pleased, though. :)

Not the "Full-Service" they claim. You'd get better service and a better experience at a much lower price at a local salon where they'd truly appreciate your business. Instead of providing a welcoming atmosphere, the employees are constantly complaining about something..
My stylist was late for my appointment, and rushed through the entire service. I left the place with hair all over my shirt, and face, my hair was not washed- nor styled.
Don't be fooled.
Don't overpay for a simple haircut, do some research and support your local businesses.response / report this review -

Been coming here for 4+ years, the last two with a membership (gift from my wife). Have had four different girls shave my head, each does a great job. All the service is top-notch and the atmosphere is perfect. Highly recommended!

Not the "Full-Service" they claim. You'd get better service and a better experience at a much lower price at a local salon, where they'd truly appreciate your business. Instead of providing a welcoming atmosphere, the employees are constantly complaining about something.. (Like, I care.) you overpay for drama and a coke. I asked for a shoe shine "I am a paying customer" and was denied, I asked for a coke, as I do not drink and was called a " 'lil-Bword" by the doorman; was disrespectfully given water instead. I was told to not bring in my water bottle inside the place. "It had a Price-chopper label"
My stylist was late for my appointment, and rushed through the entire service. I left the place with hair all over my shirt, and face, my hair was not washed- nor styled. I still tipped as it is the right thing to do (especially during the holidays)- and was told by the receptionist "Is that all?, I mean it was a free service. It cost nothing" I was so embarrassed that I tipped $20 instead of $10.
Based on my feedback to Mr. Ben Davis, he retaliates by stating the following over a phone conversation "since you didn't like the experience then I better never catch you there, and if I do I will remove you myself" - I dont believe he would do that.
Don't be fooled.
Do some research and support your local businesses.
(I have an string of emails in which Ben Davis, is demeaning, Rude and a racist)
He treated me very poorly after I provided feedback about my visit and the false advertising, and Ben Davis retaliated banned me and lied to law enforcement. I have saved every conversation- through emails, and phone. This business will not go anywhere with the way their so called "CEO- Ben Davis" treats his customers.response / report this review -

Top of the line service, and nothing but the best to say about this entrepreneurial endeavor in to men's hair cutting and lifestyle accommodation. As you walk in, you're greeted promptly and checked for appointments. Waiting is an absolute pleasure, as a free alcoholic beverage is offered at no charge, and the wait itself is very, very short.
Stylists are abundant, as are barbers to take care of you however you'd prefer. Everything from a straight blade, lathered shave to a under-cut and style, The Gents Place will take care of you, and you'll leave feeling like a million bucks.response / report this review -

This shop will be the only shop I recommend or go to as long as it keeps up the great work. Robin W. is my stylist and she is superb. The atmosphere and the customer service are all top notch. I'm a member (7-course) and every three weeks I look forward to the day I get to spend there. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Never in my wildest dreams did I realize how a haircut could leave you feeling so dapper and energized. Kendall is my technician and she is absolutely the best, paying attention to the smallest of details before she even applies the first cut to your hair. After finally leaving those cookie cutter establishments and enjoying the perks of The Gents Place, you realize how much more than "just a haircut" this establishment really is.
