I want to prefrence that have gone twice with almost compleatly different experiences. First and foremost on my first visit the food was amazing some of (if not the best) sushi I have ever had and great drinks. The only downside was the server Chance. He was unattentive at best. He literally was absent the entire time. Yet even with that lack of serive, I know when its bad because of my 10 years of serving and bartending experience, I left a very gernous tip of over 25 percent due to fact I was there over 90 mins. Yet tonight I went back and ended up with the same server Chance. He was worse then before and yet had less tables i tipped him 20 percent but i am going to say this I will not be back and aboit 70% is his fault. Again unattentive didnt greet for 10 mins and the food was bad. I dont think people shouldnt eat here but if you have chance you will have a bad time.

Food was average, never received a refill on drinks and for what you get the rolls are overpriced in my opinion. Place looks really good but the food and service could be better.

Ra has a great late night happy hour. The sushi are just the right portion size and the happy hour discount makes eating here very affordable. Service is efficiebt and professional. I love the edamame and also the spicy shrimp rolls. I don't mind it, but I'll warn you that the atmosphere at the late night can be a bit dark and loud.

Probably my favorite sushi place in KC. Quality sushi, with a great drink menu. Free WiFi. Happy hour is until 7 pm Monday through Friday, so that's awesome. You can make reservations through OpenTable. Plenty of nearby parking. Highly recommend.

Food and service is always great . I love this place . Daughter and I went on Friday of Labor Day wk end .
Son asked me on Sunday where I would like to go , for dinner . My answer was RA . He said you just went with sis . Want something different. My answer was , I love this place .response / report this review -

Went for sushi with the kids and it was great. Atmosphere was nice. Sushi was freshly made and delicious! Recommend the Zonie Roll! Prices are reasonable.

I've never been the biggest fan of seafood, much less sushi. That being said, I would go back for their crunchy calamari. The spring rolls were not bad either. The food came fast and was plated nicely. The waitress got my order wrong the first time but I blame that on our group's big order. The normal price is alright; but if you get something on their Happy Hour menu, it's very reasonable for what you get.

Great happy hour spot for sushi and drinks, ranging from teas and hot sake to margaritas and wines. Sushi names are unique like RA'CKIN ROLL and Viva Las Vegas. Intimate, darker environment inside with available outside seating.

Great place for a ladies night out or date night. Sushi is delicious. I loved the "Viva las vegas roll". Unique Sushi to choose from that is only served at their restaurant. If your a sushi lover you will love this place. I am definitely going back.

The blonde bartender literally can't get it together. Every time I go to eat there in the afternoon when it's not busy and she's working the bar I already know I'm going to be waiting at least 12 minutes before I even order drinks of water. Then it takes her a while to get the waters together. She needs to work on her customer service skills also. She didn't even ask general questions about if we had known the menu. Just asked what we wanted to drink. You can tell she's no where to be found when she needs to be serving. Totally ridiculous.
