Best for bluegrass shows. Metal bands are too loud and don't have space too move around.
$3 PBRs and the showroom is about the size of a two car garage. Best place to see a show in town.
One of the best small venues in town for intimate shows. Their support for the local scene is great.
What a great venue. If you're looking for a cool, intimate show downtown, you'll find it here. The Frequency is a narrow venue with a bar in the front and a stage and standing room in the back. They host shows nearly every day of the week and typically attract a younger audience for small, lesser known acts. I always have a great time whenever I catch a show there, so give them a visit!
One of my favorite music venues in Madison. All types of music is performed here. Good drink prices
Excellent, friendly vibe. Rare to find places with live music every single day of the week.
FREQUENCY IS ALWAYS ROCKING LOVE THE SHOWS HERE.. THE MANAGNENT TOP NOTCH. . . MADISON MUSIC SCENE IS AMAZING AND THIS VENUE LOVES LIVE MUSIC 5 STARS ALL DAY
only problem is that its too small otherwise cool venue.
This venue always has great sound, good beer selections, and great bands that come from all other to play.
The staff is to notch and I recommend this venue to everyone.
Small music venue with shows most nights. Reasonable beer prices. Tickets usually available at the door.
Solid live music venue. Bar is isolated for conversation, main room gets loud (which is awesome for live bands) always good sound and drinks are reasonable price. Pizzas served most of the time
The staff was very rude and disrespectful not only to customers but Artist as well and I'm pretty sure it had to do with their race. I will never go back and I suggest everyone stay Away Artist please book elsewhere I love live music but just can't support this place.
Lots of good live bands. Reasonable prices for a downtown location.
Great for local and out-of-town acts. Good bar service, good specials and have the basics on tap. Check out the cabinets full of misc memorabilia.
