Amazing delicious selection. Over priced. Very friendly staff.

First of all, the name is misleading. As others have pointed out, the selection is literally only truffles, and a select few flavors. Not what I would expect from a "garden" of chocolate. The store also stocks several tables with the same flavors so as to give the appearance of selection. And if you don't care to pay $3 per truffle, then this place is not for you. For all those billboards and hype, I didn't think it was worth it. During my visit, I got the cayenne kick and the orange ginger truffles. I did really enjoy the cayenne kick truffles (and it is a good, delicious kick). The orange ginger truffles tasted dirt-like, and I love ginger so not sure what was going on there. The staff members were pretty meh on the customer service. The surrounding area has many fun options (delicious wine, amazing tacos, fun kid activities), but I would probably not include the chocolate garden in my "must see" places.

I always stop in The Chocolate Garden on my way back from visiting my son in Chicago. Delicious handmade truffles. Super cute shop.

WAY overpriced. Cute shop but the chocolates are some of the worst chocolates I have ever tasted. It's nothing but a gooey ball of chocolate that tastes so artificial. For the prices you would expect a quality tasting chocolate. The lemon drop was very fake and artificially flavored. The chocolate cherry was so sour it was unpleasant. I bought milk chocolate, white chocolate, and Carmel chocolate and let's just say I was very disappointed. I actually threw the rest of my chocolates away and i have never done that in my whole life with any chocolate shop. I don't get all the rave reviews on here

The truffles were amazingly smooth and flavorful. You're looking at paying a nice chunk for them though. Unfortunately the atmosphere was not very inviting. We were treated like we were a bother to the staff instead of brand new visitors. We quickly made our purchase and left.

The ladies here are always very kind, lovely garden out front, and the truffles and drinking chocolate are really good. It's all truffles and not other kinds of candy, but that's fine for me. I think the white chocolate lemon drop truffle is my favorite, with a great lemon oil bite to it. Citrus Ginger is amazing too, like a chocolate version of going to the spa (refreshing and calming at the same time). All of the truffles are very rich and flavourful.

Super nice folks and interesting concept. Personally I thought some of the simplest options were fairly excellent but generally highly overated and overpriced, with some of the fancier choices bordering on disgusting.

Look forward to this place anytime we drive across state, it's always a must stop!! I like to call myself a chocolate connoisseur ;) and this is honestly quality chocolate right here. You can order online as well and it is so crazy worth it! The texture of these truffles is incredible and I crave them constantly.

A very welcoming place with cute staff. We actually discovered the place accidentally while driving through I-94. We were there at 7pm when the place was already closed for an hour. However the lady was so nice, she welcomed us in to shop whatever we wanted. She didn't want to deprive us of "chocolate pleasures". It was a great gesture. As first time visitors, we were really amazed by the hospitality and to add to that the chocolate truffles were delicious. We missed experiencing the taste bar and the chocolate beverages, but would surely love to visit again.

The chocolatiest chocolate to ever chocolate a chocolate. So rich and fine it made me want to slap my mama. My eurotrash wife found it to be divine. Which is high praise for any establishment. My 5 year old loves everything so we can discount her opinion wholesale on the matter.

$5.25 for two chocolate balls. Some are indeed salty. We had peppermint, lemon drop, and dark cherry. The girls ate the peppermint and said they were great. I had a dark chocolate..very complex.. often overwhelming. The lemon drop could not be eaten by neither my daughter or I. The best description I could offer for the taste would be weak potpourri. The building is beautiful and so are the staff. Atmosphere is quiet. Not for everyone.
