Extremely nice peoplethey treat you like family and make the buying experience fun with no pressure involved!
I initially gave these guys 5 stars..until 40 minutes after purchasing my car. My wife and I drove an hour to The Car Company as they had a vehicle that was reasonably priced with higher miles with all the features we wanted (as I was in the market for a car that would last me 4 years or so until I decided to go new) I looked up the company and they got 2.8 star rating, a lot of times I don't take reviews to heart as a lot are biased. Well this time I should have. Did the test drive, car was clean as advertised with fully loaded features, DVD, CD, nav., etc. We drove around, did the routine check, got the speed up to about 60, everything went well. We couldn't get the DVD screen to come on, and realized you needed a DVD to have the screen come on. We thought we will ask them about that. Get back, we were excited, went back and forth with price (talk them down, whole lot is overpriced, and they will tell you sticker is their bottom) we asked about DVD player, as far as they knew it worked, plus previous owner was a "tech guy." We asked if they had a CD or DVD anywhere so we could test it. (They said they had nothing) everything else worked on the display so we thought we would put a DVD in when we get home. I mentioned a tire monitor sensor was going off and asked if it was a sensor or if there was an issue mechanically. (The general manager basically told me in not so many words, vehicles brought here if the engine runs, and transmission is good, they put it on the lot, and price it to sell) I took that for salesman chatterboy was I wrong. 30 minutes into our drive home in our new car as we entered highway speeds 70-75, the vehicle began violently swaying left to right. It would come and go, wasn't consistent (luckily for the dealership who just sold it to me). We then get home, grab a DVD and the system would not take a DVD. We messed around with it some more until we finally realized, there is and has been a CD jammed and stuck in dvd slot. And will not come out. So after spending 3 hours and $8000 on my "new to me vehicle" I will spend another 2 days not driving it (traded in my daily driver) and roughly $500 fixing whatever the hell is wrong with it, and another $400 if I want to buy a new factory DVD system if I ever want to use it. Yes the vehicle is older (2007) with higher mileage, and I don't expect everything to work like new, but a vehicle that violently sways left to right with my pregnant wife and daughter in it is unacceptable and dangerous. Safety of the people you sell your cars to should be a priority. There is no way they did not know about the DVD (although that is not major to me), And absolutely NO WAY humanly possible they did not know about the swaying. If you want to gamble and buy here I wish you luck.
I drove over an hour away for a truck that was not there and the truck they took me to someone used it as the beater truck they took home every night head boat anchors in the bed inside the cab jacking on the seat food boxes on the floor dirty truck inside and out we go with the saleman inside the building and they run my credit and they tryed to put me in something I did not want salesman mark told me I have to suck it up with the payments and pay for 6 to 8 months on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 that was not the vehicle I was coming to look at I am a General Motors person never asked what I was actually looking for besides that Silverado he tried to put me in a Traverse that had bald front tires and the back tires what's much better then the front he kept on pushing more towards that Dodge problem is with dodges 1000 miles or more transmission has to be rebuilt
Mark and another salesman when we were having my credit ran they were saying disrespectful things about my fiance when she left the room to go get her driver's license we left after that
If you have any problems like this contact Rodger he's the manager of the store.
Be careful of Mark the salesman he fake and tries to put you in in cars you do not want
Bait and switch
Twice I have traveled over an hour from home to come look at vehicles that I was told were going to be there and have been "sold" while I was waiting. I set up an appointment and I even called on my way and was told they had it. Then to be shown a vehicle that was 10k more. Great customer service!!!
They're great. Worked with me now I have a new car. Very happy thank you.
I am trying to delete my earlier post and don't know if I succeeded so I am writing a new one. After going to the Warsaw dealership and talking to Derek Sainer , owner/manager, he was very patient and understanding with me about issues and concerns that I had. He helped me understand the things that I didn't. Now i feel 100% better about my buying experience with the car company. I would also like to thank everyone in the service department for their help. In conclusion if I should need another vehicle in the future I would very much consider buying another vehicle from them. Thanks again everyone. Tony Smith.
So far my family has had GREAT experiences through the Car Company, Goshen. Between myself, my late husband & daughters we are on our 8th purchase with them. Always within or as close to our budget as we ask. Each time we keep our fingers crossed that we don't end up with a lemon.. So far so good. Great people to work with, I have never experienced unprofessional work habits with the sales people. Of course they treat me like family when I walk in. I would buy from them again.
Make sure that you don't give these people any information about you until you have decided to go ahead and go forward with buying a vehicle. They will run 40 hard credit inquiries before you even make a decision to buy a vehicle if you give them your information.
Great selection and friendly knowledgeable staff. Would highly recommend
My husband bought a truck with no problems they told him to take his time with the test drive keep it as long as he needed to. Sales people very helpful, we still have the truck and now my daughter bought a car with them and had the same experience.
They worked hard to get us the suv we wanted. Fun place to shop.
UPDATE: The Warsaw store has been great today. I spoke with them and they are ordering them and will call me when they are in. I know they went through a lot of staff changes during this process of trying to get the headrests. If this is an easy fix and process, this will change my opinion of the company.
PREVIOUS: I wasn't going to post this, but it has gone on too long.
My wife and I bought a car at the Goshen location in September. When we bought it, we were told by the owner (Roger), that he would get us the two missing headrests for the back seats, and the second set of keys. We were told to call "parts" in Warsaw for the headrests. When I did, they were friendly, but they said they had to order them. Never received a call from them. I called them back after a few weeks and the guy was fired as well as our original sales lady. Last update was that they have one headrest but are still searching for another. I was told to "Call every few days to see if it was in and to remind us."
Since when does it take 5 months to find two headrests for a 2012 Ford Escape?!
I have never received a call from them as it feels as though they are making me play phone tag to make me eventually give up. I am sick and tired of this.
I had a good experience with the saleslady at the Goshen lot, but to be promised something and then for a company to not care and waste my time by making me play phone tag is ridiculous. PLEASE FIX THIS.
