  My wedding cake in 2011 came from Cake Artist's Studio. The cake was good, but the customer service was absolutely terrible! I called ahead and made an appointment to meet with the decorator. When I arrived I was told I hadn't made the right type if appointment and would need to come back. I live 3 hours away and had made weekend appointments all over the Champaign area to make wedding arrangements. I went ahead and purchased my wedding cake from the business. Two days after my wedding (while I was on my honeymoon) I got a phone call telling me that the internal supports had not been returned by our caterer and that the caterer had been specifically instructed to return it. I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about nor did I have a way to find it other than calling the caterer myself. Had I known the support existed and needed to be returned I would certainly have taken care of it. As it was, I was not told and I got a very rude phone call while on my honeymoon. Planning a wedding is stressful, save yourself some stress and get your cake elsewhere!

  The cakes Ashlee created for my son's and future daughter's wedding were wonderful. She created a rehearsal dinner cake from a picture of an A&M hat. It was a huge hit with all the Aggies present and he was truly surprised and thrilled. The wedding cake was not only beautiful, but so delicious my husband had about eight pieces! Definitely a person and a bakery I would use again and again.

  The Cake Artist team is always super fantastic Ashlee and her mom have always been so cordial and help me when it comes to cake decorating, pricing, sozes,etc! They always have time for me when I walk in no matter how busy they are! We have purchased several premade cakes here, as well as some specialty birthday cakes and they are always BEAUTIFUL and delicious! Thanks for all the hard work ladies!
