Park is well kept with areas for walking. Nice size sights. We were in a pull thru with a view of the lake. Easy on/off of interstate with not much highway noise. Would stay again.

They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to us. We needed a new water pump that took three days in total. They saved a spot for us each day until we were finally fixed. Rush trucking was next door and wonderful. The campground is very nice.

My family and I spent the long weekend here camping so that we could visit the University of IL. We came in late, after dark, and the owner came out of his home to check us in and guide us to our site. He was very personable and helpful. The campground is really nice and well maintained. Smokey the Cat was friendly too. Would definitely come back.

You can't beat this place. Beautiful and peaceful. Full hookups. Manager/Owner is awesome. We will be back.

Matt the owner (third generation) was AMAZING! He even helps you park your rig. He’s got excellent customer service and even drove me down to the mailbox to mail my letters in the little golf cart. Very helpful with directions to local attractions and stores. Definitely will stay here again if we are in the area and I HIGHLY recommend the campground. Sites are spaced apart very nice and plenty of room to enjoy your stay.

This place was very nice. Matt with the hat, the owner, was super nice. It had a nice lake view.. There wasn't any cable, but we don't use it anyway. Matt's personality was awesome. They are roomy sites.

We camped here overnight in a 40 ft fifth wheel. Full hookups, internet access, dog run (nice sized), fishing lake (no swimming), lots of trees. It is quite close to I-57, yet we did not notice traffic noise. Clean and well cared for. Country feel. Fair priced. We will certainly be back.

Great campground, wonderful staff, nice area. Close to shopping and fuel. Clean restrooms and laundry. Great WiFi. Level sites.

Extremely disappointing experience. Came in to inquire about the spaces and amenities and were harshly, rudely told by the manager (older white man on a golf cart) to leave immediately. This was in the middle of the day on a Monday, mind you. Terrible attitude for business, terrible attitude to treat other people with, in general.

This is a convenient spot for us to camp when returning home from areas south of Chicago. The sites are easily accessible. The owners/managers are very friendly and helpful. If you are visiting the Champaign /Urbana area this is a good place to set up your base. But it isn't really a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination.

Just an overnight stop for us on our way south in our class "c": It 's is conveniently located off highway 57 (N), The office staff person was very friendly and took us to our site: It is clean and quiet, there are trees between sites.; nice looking rigs in the park and a busy community area. Would love to stay again! Priced right too!
Wifi was probably some of the best we've experienced in a park.response / report this review -

Very accommodating staff! Pulled in around 6 pm and staff were right there. Took me to our first site that only had power (we made our reservations late). Wasn't sure my power cord would reach. No problem. They loaned me a 50 amp extension cord. Moved the next day to a full hookup site. And they were there to make sure I knew where everything was. Clean restrooms and showers.
