I eat here all the time one of family go to places to eat love the food, the employess the owern is nice and the prices are great!

Food was great, server was great but while we were eating I noticed they were watching a Mexican drama show on all the TVs in the restaurant and it was of a guy raping a woman. It was super graphic and there were kids in there. I found that extremely inappropriate and when I went to say something I noticed every server was watching the show instead of working which disgusted me more. So I didn’t say anything just paid and left.

I adore this place.my partner and I walked in and were seated immediately, during the lunch rush of all times. I ordered the carne Asada, and my partner ordered the nachos for the first time. Not only was the service quick, but the quality of both menu items were extraordinary. I fell in love.

Go to spot for Mexican in Smyrna. Always great service, never too crowded and the food is fantasic. Can't really go wrong with Mexican dishes, but they do them right. Recommendations are the specials. Pina loca and Fiesta platter are a must.

Good food, great service. I was eating at the bar and the bar tender poured me a free drink w/o me even noticing. I went to take the last sip of my drink and picked up a full glass lol. Definitely coming back.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of 2 of our visits. We frequent this place because their food is excellent. BUT, if you sit in the back of the restaurant, the service is not good. It seems you are forgotten. I had to wave down a server to take our order, after watching another table, that was seated after us get served first. And you don't get checked on as often in the back of the place. I also had to wave our server down to get our bill. We will not sit in the back anymore! And we will let them know why.

My food was fresh and enjoyable. Good menu options. The waiter juggled his tables very well making sure we all were doing good. I will come back, just not for a drink.

Could really use some drink specials!
The border special is damn good! Probably the most unhealthy thing I can think of.
This place is never busy. We've been countless times and never had to wait. Parking can be a pain. The spaces in front are way too close to each other.
Food prices are higher than say Los Bravos but not as bad as Cinco, the portions at the border are larger.response / report this review -

This was my first and last time at this business. I came in and was seated at the bar. After about 15 minutes of not being acknowledged, I finally asked the guy at the register to make a to go order for me as I knew that I wouldn't have time to eat my lunch there. I placed my order and requested exactly how I wanted my food fixed ( I asked for my Texas fajitas to be placed over rice and queso put on top). As I continued to wait, I had to ask a waitress for a glass of water as I was still not acknowledged by the bar staff. Apparently the waitress forgot about my order because she continued to walk back and forth past me without it. I wasn't going to stress it because a cook bought me what I thought was my food but she gave me the wrong order so I had to continue to wait. A patron sitting beside me got the bartender's attention for me and he finally addressed me. I again asked for a glass of water. About another 15 minutes later the water and my food finally came. I looked at my food and noticed that it was not fixed as I requested. I ended having to pay an additional 1.25 for more queso because they didn't prepare my meal as I had asked. My meal was a total of $17.58, which was a total waste of my money. I expressed to the manager my dissatisfaction of the service and my incorrect order. He showed no interest in my complaint. I asked for some salsa and he proceeds to tell me it will be a charge of $0.75. At this point in time I wanted to blow as it is apparent that this is a restaurant that is all about the money and could care less about customer satisfaction. Thanks to The Border for making this a less than celebratory Cinco De Mayo for meI don't even have a desire to eat my food at all now.

Nice little Mexican place. Good food and good service. I have been there probably 100s of times. It is close to my work and we go there 3 or 4 times a month. Food has always been good; there are days when there's lots of rush so it gets slow. My favorite is Spicy Burrito; do give it a try if you're fan of jalapeno. They have outdoors are as well, which is great during summer and nice hot Atlanta days.
