Great atmosphere and food! Could use a lot of updating on the outside as well as the parking lot which would definitely bring more appeal. Overall, I would highly recommend looking past the exterior and give this old gem a try!
We ate there 2015 Christmas buffet was incredible. We went back for 2017 Thanksgiving and the food was mediocre. They may have been having a bad night. But with the two nights mixed together I still want to go back. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. No problem if you’re in a wheelchair.
It really could be a nice place, but it needs a major update. It's just not clean, furniture is outdated, smells old. Food was just mehplus there was nobody. Felt like a haunted house. Staff was nice and courteous. It's still a tad better than all the over priced fried food places around.
Best Prime Rib ever, not a real casual place, a bit pricey, but prime rib is totally worth it
Food and service were excellent, as always, and their early bird specials are worth checking out. Whether you're in the mood for fresh seafood, great prime rib, or perfectly cooked wild game, you can't go wrong at the Boar's Head. Exceptional food served in an upscale atmosphere, and the prices are quite reasonable. Avoid the over-priced tourist traps like Captain Anderson's, and try the Boar's Head; you won't be disappointed!
Just made our first trip to The Boars Head and it will definitely NOT be our last, it's just a shame it took us this many years to find it. The menu offers a wide variety of appetizers and entres, and our meal was delivered exactly as ordered, down to a perfect temperature. Our server, Chris, was very helpful and extremely personable, and our table had an amazing view of the gulf, all in all, a great experience !!
The choice of meat for the steaks is pretty well. Had little to no gristle although my wife's steak at medium well had a plate full of blood after first cut. Staff was nice to put it back on the grill and try again with a new plate but still did not get close to medium well. Sea food is on the higher end for price, especially for the king crab legs at 49.99 for a lb and a half. Plenty of sea food near by for cheaper if that is what you like. Building itself is pretty cool looking inside but does show its age. The booth we ate at had the ceiling semi patched from water damage but could see it drop ever now and then from the over hanging above the booth. But was no wait to get in and food is food. If you want best for your dollar than this may not be the first one on your list to try. Hope you have better luck if you do try.
Honestly our favorite restaurant We drive an hour and back often just to take in the unique experience they have to offer. It's a trip back in time to a slower-paced world when quality, flavor, presentation and cordiality reigned supreme. No detail is overlooked, they are attentive to your every need without being intrusive and the menu selection is wide-ranging and beyond compare, offering all the best of Florida's eclectic tastes on the Emerald Coast. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Prices are amazingly reasonable--and you will find something everyone in your party will LOVE!

The best Prime Rib and Steaks in Panama City Beach! The service was excellent! You will not be disappointed!
It was fantastic. We enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent. We live here and try to go to the boars head several times a month. Best in town
We ordered the filet mignon and it was tough and we could not eat it but our dog loved it. We also ordered a cheese burger off the children's menu. It was average. Service was good. Overall we were disappointed in the experience at the prices they charge. We are locals and this was the first time we were disappointed so we will try again after the tourist go home.
easily my favorite restaurant on the beach!! Barry, one of the owners is so hospitable. the quality of service is unmatched! sure, the prices are a little high, but everything on the menu is well worth it!! best steak ive ever had!!!!
