Great food including brick oven pizza, but 9/30/17 may be their last day

My husband and I enjoyed our first meal at the Birdwalk 6-26-17. Jennifer was our bubbly, enthusiastic, attentive waitress for the evening. We told her we wanted to try out the pizza this trip and we would return for the prime rib at our next visit. She suggested the pizza and wing night special to which we agreed to try. It was not too busy being a Monday night, so she had time to share some nice conversation with us that made our meal extra pleasant and enjoyable! The pepperoni brick oven pizza was light and satisfying, and the A-1 honey wings were very tasty and filling. We had fun walking around the rooms looking at the collectibles and antiques for sale while we waited for our dinner. All in all it was a very nice experience and we look foward to returning for the prime rib in a few weeks. Thank you, Jennifer and staff! It was fun! Ellicottville Airbnb Visitors, Jim and Laurie

Was once a great place! Not so much anymore. Staffing issues and inconsistent food is commonplace at this establishment. Hopefully they bring it back up to par.

Great food and service. Very warm and cozy feeling. Outside the hustle and bustle of the ski town.

The food was overall well done. I got a New York Strip rare, and that is exactly what came out.

That was the extent of the positive experience I had.

The service was atrocious. It took us 20 minutes to order drinks and another 15 to get them and order food. I ordered an old fashioned and was never asked until it was brought to the servers attention that I had gone without a drink for almost 20 minutes. We waited over an hour for our food.

The costs were astronomical. I'm not sure what makes a filet mignon cost upwards of $40. Salads were $13 and it was the size of a side salad.

Overall, if your willing to wait, be parched, be hungry and leave with an empty wallet, the food is good. Just not worth my time.
